Looks like my 9/2 order is stuck in customs in Cincinnati. Although DHL claimed a 10/12 delivery, its now 9:30pm local and I think its safe to say its not coming. No update on the DHL site since yesterday at 5pm. Last status was "Clearance event".
Bummed.

My DHL is horrible. It varies greatly by area and who is doing yours. They have a driver that has X territory. If your in center of territory of driver most likely awesome service. But those on edge sucks. My DHL driver calls every time on first day and says I can meet him at a certain spot at end of day if I want it that day. Or I can wait till next day and he will drive it. By doing this my driver get's some people to drive to him like me when it's a miner. He saves money on gas and get's credit for a delivery it's really screwed up but he can do it. I avoid DHL like the plague. But as I said if your in center of territory likely good service.

Fuck, I can't sleep. I'm too worried that the 6x miners I receive tomorrow will be from Batch 2, and under perform. Then I'm basically fucked, don't know how I will react or what I will do. /sad /angry /pissedthefuckoff
I heard that batch 2 will run at 600mhz at 4800 but the wattage is 1300 You will have them in hand Right now that is gold My batch one came set at 575 running 4600 solid. If my B1 order machines are hashing at 4600... I won't accept that, seriously. As far as I'm concerned these are Bitmains options: -Full refund. -Ship me new machines for free, and pay shipping for the slow ones to be sent back. (With 200 GH/s hashing power per miner at hashnest until I receive new units). This is about respect and honoring the agreement we made. I promise you all, they (Jihan Wu) won't get away with it. man, don't wind yourself up so much.. I hope that it works out. See below: the S7 play is on potential btc dollar value rise, nothing else.the breakeven is more than 12mo otherwise at 0.1 power calculator shows just $57 difference in profitability (actually, small loss) between 4.86/1210w and 4.66/1160w machines by october 2016. i don't think it takes halving into consideration, though. Did you take into account the halving next summer?

I never use DHL anymore, I learned when I ordered the S1's! UPS <3 ^^ I will test the following with a "kill-a-watt": -S7 @ APW3-12-1600-B2 -S7 @ Corsair 1200 AXi, while running the controller of a separate PSU. -S7 @ XFX 1250W, while running the controller of a separate PSU. I paid in USD btw, not Bitcoin The reason I'm agitated is this: -I have received ZERO information from Bitmain. -It's shipping kinda late. <- This is however according to the agreed terms. It's fine, but still irritating. If they in addition to this sent me B2 units, without telling me up front, and without giving me a choice to wait for proper miners. I will be pissed. This is why: I'm paying 25% VAT. Which means I'm paying 2278$ per miner from Batch 1, but they sent Batch 2 instead. If I were to order the batch 2, I would have paid 1981$ per miner. Thats a price diff of 297$ per machine. I ordered 6. Which puts the price diff at 1782$. The loss would be even bigger over time because of the lower hashrate. This would be a slap in the face. I'll be honest, its not about the money, it's a bad investment because of my VAT anyway. I'm mining to support the community, for the fun of it. Hell, I even bought em to support Bitmain!! Part of the fun is to see if my ROI calculations works out, watch the difficulty change, and mining makes it more exciting to keep myself updated on Bitcoin, and whats going on in the community. When that is said, I do not tolerate being treated like shit. If they won't accept my terms, I will find other ways to make this feel right. Schadenfreude is my shit. In the end, I know I will sleep like a baby.

It's crazy how they divide area up. But they do crazy things to the edges of the route when delivery. So that driver decided he did not want to drive to your place. So he got it shipped through another company. Most shipping companies would never do this, but DHL allows drivers a LOT of leeway on what they do.

Hmmmm.... $2k plus miner underperforming in Batch 1 + Batch 2, Batch 3 may meet the specs. Almost no response from the manufacturer, no refunds on almost one month waiting. Well, BITMAIN started well in 2013 but the more i read this thread, the more i seem to realize how greedy BTC has turned out to be, and honestly, there is absoloutely no differnce in governments faking FIAT and a small anarchist group called BTCminers and their farms. (Well blockchain analysis tops this nonanon- and noncryptocoin!) This isn't BTC's idea since over two years anymore. You all seem to give a fcuk on anonymity and also give a fcuk on keeping the chain well distriputed and healthy by your greedy poolmining... Shut down your miners for a week and go play with your children and have a laugh with your beloved ones, this is just an insane power spoiling industry with scams everywhere and mistrust behind every corner. Whish you a nice evening guys Monro shills now trolling Bitmain threads..can't make this shit up That genesis cloud mining affiliate spam in your sig is a great way to promote decentralization.

I could see a credit card doing something. I'm just curious how you are going to fight back. For most part bitmain is take what we give you. As we can see from compensation.

Today my order for the Batch 1 Antminer S7's arrived! They are preforming better than expected. The only problem is that they have a high pitched sound that is looking like a bearing problem in the fans...... Two our of the four that I received have this problem. Waiting for my Batch 3 Antminer S7's...

I am beginning to think that they had the 2015-09-28 00:00:00 labels already made for all of the orders. When they realized that their were problems with the chips, they held off on shipping.
If you have already printed thousands of shipping labels with the orderid references, you really wouldn't want to reprint them all. That's my suspicion at this point since I have had to do large shipping label runs in a previous life.

Glad to hear that your S7s are hashing well, so it seems lately shipped miners are working per specifications. Has anyone gotten a B2 miner within the last 2 days?

Glad to hear that your S7s are hashing well, so it seems lately shipped miners are working per specifications. Has anyone gotten a B2 miner within the last 2 days? I don't think anyone has gotten a batch 2 miner at all. Most of us are talking about batch 1, which obviously only a few people have received. Other people who keep up with this thread and take a guess, but being optimistic I would say 50 batch 1 miners have been discussed as received. I'm sure plenty went to farms, and reviewers, resellers, the people who spent much more and have some pull you know, but not us little guys. Also many people aren't going to post about it unless they have a problem. They don't mention as much if things are going well, especially if they are a busy person, but yeah, if you hear of anyone having received a batch 2 miner please let me know because that would be an even bigger slap in the face considering batch 2 and batch 3 paid much less than batch 1. Bitmain should be offering to cut batch 1 prices and maintain the 4.8x. But I digress, and now must go look at miner porn.

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function. Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.

i had the same in a first few seconds, so if you let it go, they probably grinded a piece out already. but if not, just very slightly loosen one or more of the screws that connect fan to the miner. the grinding sound should go away-mine did. re high pitch-you can only reduce this if you play with % settings and/or concoct some sound reflecting surfaces as I did. i have just 60db at 1m distance at full fans at 600.
