I think the strongest case to be made for Bitcoin is that no matter how oppressive a political system is in opposition to private ownership, as long as there is somewhere on the earth that has private property rights that bitcoin will not only survive there, but also even in the black markets of everywhere on Earth that it is banned.

The absolute autonomy of property rights and store of value with its immunity from inflation acknowledged by the basic concept and construct of Bitcoin is exactly why it WILL be the world's preferred reserve currency some day.

Some great positive stories eminating over the last few days, I feel the need to give my bitcoin brother Fakhoury's thread a casual bump , it needs to be above the Bearish News Thread.

Some great positive stories eminating over the last few days, I feel the need to give my bitcoin brother Fakhoury's thread a casual bump , it needs to be above the Bearish News Thread.

I know I'm enjoying the news.  However, I wish all of this good news would have waited until AFTER I get some serious investment funds in December.  I would have preferred to buy at $235 rather than $275.  I see the new low with support for bitcoin in December being approximately $265 to $275 range.

I really don't see bitcoin price being double by New Years what it is right now all because of Gemini.  Maybe during the spring of 2016 but not New Years.

The BIG money coming into bitcoin via Gemini will be in for a rude greeting in June and July when we have this pump and dump I'm talking about.  The REAL traders will LOVE the volatility to come but others may freak out.
