for a lot people holding coins is very boring as they don't get a direct gain when they let their coins sit in their wallets. they want to put their coins to work but don't think about the risks. they mostly find out what they did wrong when it is already too late.

Off course always good investments will give decent to good return in long term perspective but bitcoin prices are quite volatile so for going very long term may not be a good idea. So you try to lend them for for some profit with proper collateral is one of the safe way to grow slowly you coins. If you have some knowledge trading the you can try in small portion to buy at low price and selling for decent profit.

I'm about to say this. Indeed it is bcoz i lost a lot of btc in investing (especially on hyips/ponzis). Even in other fields where you invest, it's  still risky so basically , there's always a risk on investing.

What kind of investments your talking they are risky? If you say high yield investments then surely they are very risky and almost 90% of the time you will loose your investments.

You also should know the trading also equally risky investment unless if you buy it and wait for long term to appreciate the price. In the world almost 80 to 90% traders are loosing money.
