Croatia have performed pretty well in order to reach the finals to play against France on the last world cup 2018 held in Russia, it is just a few months time after the world cup, and Croatia is starting to look like a totally different team now, as I did not expect Spain to be able to score 6 goals against Croatia, and Spain was totally dominating the ball possession in the match too.

Croatia is play pretty good in first 20 minutes, and they have 2-3 good chances to score in that time, but after Vrsaljko injury everything went downhill. It is hard to say what happened to them, but it was obvious that something is just go wrong from that moment. They do not have Subasic GK anymore, and their first striker Mandzukic which is visible in the game, also Corluka is say goodbye to the national team. With few extra injured players and pretty low motivation in this game the result is not surprising me, although 6 goals is too much.

Spain looks really strong under leadership of Luis Enrique, he knows his job and the proof of this is the victory against England&Croatia. They will probably win 1 place in this group, and maybe even go to final four of this competition.

Every single team in the UEFA Nations League knew that this isn't your summer competition where you can relax all you want, this is actually an official competition where you play for the points.

About Croatia, they were outplayed by a superior team, simple as that. This is Spain when they have a competent manager like Luis Enrique, not the joke they had in the WC with an interim like Hierro.

Btw, Iceland lost their two matches so they'll probably get relegated to League B where they belong. And Italy, did anyone watch their games? they are a complete disaster, wouldn't be surprised if they also get relegated to a lower league.

I'll agree Croatia did field a very strong team, but they were simply outplayed by Spain who're suddenly rejuvenated under Enrique. This is the Spain I once knew, free playing and scoring goals. I have said it before Italy has a long way to go, and one should avoid their matches. If they're relegated it's their fault, they're not putting in any efforts to play so in all fairness they should be relegated.

It seems that you have not watched any Croatia game in World Cup (or read my post) when you say it is same team. Mandzukic, Subasic, Corluka do not play anymore for national team - first GK and first striker, two key players in Russia. Also they miss Lovren, Strinic, Kramaric, Rebic and Vrsaljko was injured during the game. That is 8 players who play in first 11, not minus 1 as you say.

Croatia have many new players in the team and they are more focused on euro qualifications which is start next year then in this competition.

Really, nobody wants to discuss the friendlies disguised as competitive Nations League games? Didn't watch any to be honest but only as am away rather than a lack of interest. Good betting to be had so far, with some really good value bets going on. Caught a nice 6x yesterday on England, saw they scored with each of the only 3 shots they had on target (and 0 off target shots!), while Spain had 12? Did England park the bus after going 3-0 up or is there an untold story of gallant English defending? Heh heh.

Mane broke his thumb in training, Keita was injured last night, Salah got subbed off with a hamstring injury too. We always get players returning injured from internationals.

The International Games are not showing many surprises so they are better than the normal leagues. People are making money and the odds of these teams are really good. Not a lot of difference like when plays Bayern Munchen against any other Bundesliga team. When you lose a bet on a low odd you become really sad compared when you do lose a bet with a higher odd.

In this way I am in favour of these International games as I have made a bit of money with them.

I don't think so , and it is 2-3 Spain-England and not 0-3 but Spain is not what it used to be anymore, many key players are old or even retired from the national team like Iniesta which was the "mind" of the Spain national team. England has done a lot of improvements in the late years so I am not surprised for this win from them.

Germany is no big surprise either, before the game, Germany had 0 goals scored and 3 conceded and this shows that Germany is not in any good condition since their loss against South Korea in the World Cup.

Give it some time to Enrique to to try reserve players and find optimal squad before important matches will start.

I was taken back when the final whistle blew and England had won the match, all the pre match talks were of Spain winning it, and I doubt anyone even believed that team England had any realistic chance of winning it. I'll agree Spain and Germany are going through a transitional phase, while I would yet give Enrique time, Leow has to go he's not the charismatic character he once was, and he has not been able to turn their fortunes around.

Those games are not that competitive and lacks consistency making it hard to predict so if I were you I'd rather abstain from gambling all together during this period.

I'll second that I usually refrain from playing in games especially during the breaks, as the results are always surprising. It's pertinent to note that many players request not to be selected or don't play with much intensity as they want to report fit for the club. I also believe that during these games players are less focused look at Spain or Germany players, for these very reasons it's my advice to avoid playing on these matches.

Germany is no longer good now. therefore I suggest you to bet for Germany. I lost big when the Dutch beat Germany, I think Germany was able to defeat the Netherlands, which has been inconsistent lately. currently the good ones are Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.

There's no doubt Germany has been on decline for quiet a while, and much of the blame I feel points towards Loew he's not been able to galvanise them, and find their confidence back. It's pertinent to note that Germany decline has some effect in the form of Bayern Munich players too. Yeah, I backed Germany too, nothing big, but the odds were what... 2/1 at least? Thought that it was a bargain given how badly the Dutch themselves have fallen, but then old and new Liverpool boys made sure the Germans got thumped. I'll take a look at closing odds tomorrow, I'll still back Germany but only if the odds are good, which I think they will be after the last thrashing.

I don't really see in national teams that the coach has influence, always doubted that but then England's last run in the WC seemed to prove that players even with the little time spent together, can do well with the right coaching.

Going to try and watch Croatia Spain tonight but won't be miffed if can't find a good stream. Hard to get interested when these international breaks just ruin my league enjoyment.
