The problem is the site could've stayed alive. It's not like there was some major hack and all bitcoins were lost, they say they "overpaid" some people (probably themselves) and to add to that they always had new investors coming to double. The could've easily stayed alive, the admins just wanted to steal everything now when there were huge deposits. I am sure that if some people hadn't invested 0.5+ btc the site would still be around right now waiting for that moment.
If this site is really legit and have total control of the coins coming in and out, they can pay the investors regardless of how much they invest because that is their business and that's their promise, to double the amount invest. They did not say investors can only invest 0.5 BTC below, there is no disclaimer like that. The site is destined to shutdown since day 1 because there is no legit business who can promise double your money in 100 hours, if there is, poverty is not a problem anymore. My point was that their program probably would still be running if so many people stopped investing high amounts like 0.5 btc. When people invest such high amounts the owner must shut down the ponzi. Since you used the "must" let me ask you this, why would they shutdown the site if someone invested 0.5 BTC? Is there a warning or disclaimer that investors can only invest 0.5 BTC or else they will shutdown? AFAIK someone invested higher that 0.5 BTC and got paid according to the site |

FAKE... I deposited 0.1+ but i never got 4% back  What a lie It was not 4% back, you are wrong dude. When have you invested? If it was within 100 hours before the website closed then you really lost. It was 200% back which means you would get 0.2, sorry for your lost, dude. |

There stil more than 30btc excess the last time when statistic shown before the trouble.it was enough to pay some cover investment but the admin ran with it.thats why it came to end not because no new investments coming because A LOT OF INVESTMENTS COMING!
This is true. I came back since I saw someone promoting 5btc giveaway for the most sign ups so I deposited about 0.65 apparently 1 day too late as I was already at 3 days+. After my deposit I noticed several 2.4btc 2.3 2.1 , 2 ,1.75 all which I assumed came from the same person with different btc addresses. That's when I thought cool looks like there is enough to go around but in the end the site holders wanted a nice cut. Still I deposited $25 in btc receive $50 ( never won any giveaways) This time I deposited $10 and well received $0 I suppose that's still a profit of $15 when you look at the bigger picture. What surprised me most is that I had no clue there were really that many people with "that" amount of btc. Anyways it was fun while it still lasted. |

I invested in this ponzi scheme, and unlike others i read the disclaimers and already knew this site was a ponzi.
My 0.001 btc investment made me 0.002 btc in 5 days.
My 0.002 btc investment made me 0.004 bts in 5 days. (after reinvesting my money i recieved)
I then decided to wait two days before investing again and after one day of this the site crashed! Seems as if I was quite lucky with that guess considering the amount of bitcoi people have lost due to this service now! This is a good lesson to other investors to READ THE RULES as people cannot claim any bitcoin back from this site as it did not act as an illegal ponzi, it was a legal one!

I said many people, not just one or two, MANY people were investing 0.5 btc and more. This resulted in high demands for returns and obviously a good reason for the admin to shut down the system. I did not say that just because one person deposited 0.5 they won't get their payment, there were many people who deposited 1 or 2 btcs and got paid back. What I was trying to say was that there were way too many people asking for over 1 btc and so the admin shut the site down. |

Cuz I've been an early investor of honestdoubler and made profit with it before it "collapsed" but eventually I realized that it's not worth it anymore to wait for the re-launch cuz I see some investors with 0.1+ deposits not being paid by the promised 4% return thus making honestdoubler a scammer. |

Surprised this lasted as long as it did. With all doublets and sites alike never last long. For almost a month this is indeed a good run. Only main reason these never last long is because they do no have a source of income to continue with the profits to up hold or for bigger players to get involved. Bigger deposits the low deposits get crumbled. First in wins the race on most these but its robbing Peter to pay Paul most of the time. Shame for the ones who lost but as to anyone who plays the game understands the risk with these.
