I'm just wondering about what's HW means ?? is't OK to be high like 25782, and what cause this ?
Sorry for newbie question, but i'm learning from you guys .

Screen shot :

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

That is still a very very small percentage.  There is nothing to worry about at that level.

Just doing one google search you will find many good articles to explain it.  Here is one that is a tad dated on gear it uses but shows math behind it. - http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/hw-error-formula/

It is possible, that there is noting to worry about it. I think this HW-Errors (>25000 in 10h) are related to the not so proper working chain 3. Having 1Th/s less in average than expected is not so nice.

It is not the number but the percentage you should look at.  And the percentage is still very low.

You are fine.  Read how it is calculated with link above but you have no issues currently with hw errors.

To follow up if you see the errors drift upwards  to 0.4 vs .04 there could be other issues.

to think of it another way   for every 1000 usd  earned your error rate costs you .40 cents usd

if it drifts to 0.4 for every 1000 usd earned you would lose 4 usd.

Getting the replacement blade is more important.

If you could also please let us know how the RMA process goes for you.  One other person said it was kinda painful.

I am hoping to see if they got bad luck, or what your experience is like on S5+ RMA.
