Oh nice deposits work now, i guess we can buy people keywords now, also noticed a few other small updates, seems to be running a little smoother.
Anyone going to buy keywords from the people who got them earlier on? I odn't think you have to buy them flat out i think you can bid on them. Obviously they aint getting 30 btc on those keywords buy i think some of them are worth 1-10btc.

I don't see the deposits working under 'My Wallet' - no visible BTC address and when you select a BTC amount to deposit, the page just re-directs to the main page

Clear you cache for search trade an it will work.

I think the profit line for most of us invested in keywords is going to be 100,000 registered users.

So far I've made 3.3 cents on my keywords since the beta launch (I believe it was 6 days ago), on pace to make about 4 cents by the 10,000th search, this with 1,287 users.  So, with 1,287 users, we're on pace for maybe 10,000 searches after 1 week, or 520,000 searches per year, which at current payout and user search rate, would give me about $2.08 (4 cents per week times 52 weeks per year).

Ten thousand users is about 7.77 times as much as ST currently has; thus, it would presumably make 7.77 times the returns on searches, or $16.16 per year.  At 100,000 users, revenues would jump up ten times more, putting me at about $161.60.  One million users would push the decimal over one more time, making it $1,616.00.  Ten million is where it starts to become really attractive - $16,160.00 per year.  One hundred million users is $161,600.00, etc., etc.

Since all of the keywords were sold above $90.00, if my memory serves me for what the bitcoin prices were for each of the price slabs, unless we all want to be waiting around for the rest of our lives to make back our original investments, if even (the case for having around 10,000 users, searching at the current rate), we should be shooting for the 100 thousand user mark, as a first major goal, which could have us reaching our investments after a decade.

Of course, we'd prefer to make it back much sooner than that, which is why we ultimately should shoot for 1 million plus users, which could be paying us back after 1 year at current payout and user rate.  But I think 100,000 users is a big hurdle to getting there, and a worthy milestone to shoot for as we try to grow this network.

We're currently only a little over 1 hundredth of the way there, but there has to be over 500 different people out there that hold keywords, probably closer to 1,000, that each have a vested interest in the success of their investments, which is already half of what it takes to bring more eyes to ST.  The other half is taking the energy to convert some of that interest into spreading the word about ST through word of mouth and social media.

That's where we, the ST keyword owners come in.  While ST's own advertisement efforts might eventually be successful at bringing in 100,000 + users, our own efforts to spread the word could cut the time that it takes to reach those numbers by half, or possibly even more.

I've already made some efforts to create an awareness about ST through simple youtube comments to bitcoin related videos and have mentioned it to some of my work buddies and a few family members and I plan to do more by perhaps creating a youtube video about ST that highlights its strengths and then using some SEO (search engine optimization) to drive some more eyes there.  The key is to create as big of a physical footprint (word of mouth) and cyber footprint (use of social media like facebook, twitter, and youtube) as possible, since the spread of awareness about ST is the only possible way for there to be a chance for more people to sign up (I know that this is an obvious statement, but it doesn't hurt to be reminded).

Is this serious? If it is, I hope that you're able to realize that you basically made the worst "investment" of your lifetime.

It's just quite stupid how you can't even search as much here. Almost no results.

Worst of my lifetime?  LOL.  Exaggerate much?

I could have invested $10K in this (I haven't, but hypothetically could have) and this still wouldn't stand a chance at being the worst investment that I've made.  Not that it's any of your business, but going to college was by far the worst investment that I've made, 4 years gone for an education that I don't use or have much interest in, like losing $400K dollars if you ask me (most actual costs covered by a scholarship) - time is valuable.  I was stupid at the time...oh well, lesson learned.

The fact of the matter is that this is a relatively low risk play, with a potential high reward, albeit maybe not likely (but who can say for sure?).  I think it's safe to say that nobody is dropping 5% of their total assets into this.  Most are likely putting in less than half of 1%, so it's not like the risk is great to anybody, besides the company itself, of course.  Losing $90 isn't the end of the world you know?

But making 1,000% on your original investment is a big deal, even if you only have $90 invested, and it IS possible here if this thing evolves and draws in a sufficient amount of interest.  I think most of the investors here understand that if this is ever going to be paying us profits that it will be 5 or more years down the road.  It's likely going to take some time, with the help of company (paid) ads and organic (word of mouth) ads.

Some possible improvements SearchTrade: Search results only show up to 10 pages which is limiting and not a great user experience - thx

I agree but feel we should give time to them as they had just launched the system. i remember even GOOGLE was very bad when launched. even FACEBOOK was not the same what we are using today. Every great innovation require time and patience. i suggest as a community we shall support the system and appreciate once initiative.
practically how many great innovation we see in todays world....after going through the system - i felt this is the 1st time in the history somebody taking initiative to build a internet co-operative community by redistributing wealth back to users without just thinking about self earning.
moreover, they are slowly giving shape to something which never ever happened back in history.

also i feel if this systems works - than by default, single handedly they can support bitcoin utility and will create new internet economy. moreover its very safe way for new users to experience bitcoin and its utility without investing in bitcoins. I am sure there are many people in the world who have heard about bitcoins but feel unsafe to experiment with it. i feel SearchTrade opening new doors for 1st time users to understand how bitcoins n its wallet works and once they get confident its by default encouraging them to invest more in it. this way search trade creating new bitcoin users worldwide. Assume what is they are able to achieve 10-30 million users in near future....by default users are becoming bitcoin users contributing to bitcoin growth indirectly. i personally don't see it impossible.
if this really happen than surely they will be in the world news for money distribution business creating new opportunities.

till date i have seen people developing only wallets / exchanges / trading platforms / merchant services on bitcoin .....but no one ever thought of creating value and using bitcoin feature of micro-payment as mass distribution. but when someone is trying to do that, here we start pulling him with faults. (Typical human nature)...

its very easy to criticise something but instead very difficult to bring change. its a out-of-box thinking ! lets support and welcome the change.

That sounds not that good if the payment problems already starting. That have to be improved if this will have any chance of success. Maybe the project is way to big for the team now working on it.

I dont think that this site will run on a long, because their is so many bugs and the search engine they are using is also not their own and the profit ratio is also very less. very soon who ever have invested on keyword will come to know about it.
