After having a cup - This would be an easy first timer coffee.  Very soft mouth feel with not too much acidity.  Nice mellow earthy flavor.  It is on the lighter side of a medium roast so it should provide a good kick of caffeine.

I really enjoyed the organic Colombian this morning.  It was fuller bodied and smoother than the Brazil.  I also felt that it was slightly more acidic.  Delicious!   The sample portions are the perfect amount for my french press.

as for the taste, the Brazilian was good but stronger than I thought it would be!  however I think for my sample I wanted the Ethiopian, but it's a free sample I can't complain, especially since there were probably a ton of orders coming in at the time.

fresh ground is the way to go if you enjoy your coffee ! 

I honestly never cared until someone got me a grinder for one christmas.  After that I was hooked, all my coffee I have fresh ground.  Takes a bit more time but totally worth it!  Then again, I'm the type that likes to take time to relax and enjoy my coffee/tea and it's not 'just for caffeine'
