I have read the opposite news. Al Qaeda declares loyalty to ISIS. I don't remember the source and I am not finding it now but I'm sure about this. But my question is: How is possible that these two twins declare war each others?

ISIS leader rejected Al Qaeda authority and declaring himself leader of all Muslims, Ayman al-zawahir as Al Qaeda leader accused ISIS leader Abu bakr baghdadi of "sedition" and said he was not the leader of all Muslims as he claimed.

Al Qaeda never declares loyalty to ISIS, but yes they joined forces on November 2, 2014 and the alliance was short.

Al Qaeda is not an unified group anymore. They are split in to several organizations, differing in their intentions. For example, the Al Qaeda in Syria (known as Al Nusra) is against the ISIS. But at the same time, the other Al Qaeda groups (such as those in the Maghreb and Yemen) remains friendly with the local chapters of the Islamic State.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. So now Al Qaeda, who is an enemy we are still trying to destroy, is going to help combat ISIS, another enemy. Meanwhile, we are trying to save Syria from ISIS the enemy, while at the same time trying to engineer a change in Syria's leadership who we consider an enemy. I don't believe this, this is just a joke and they are fooling the people.

The same strategy was tried earlier with Taliban in Afghanistan (during the 1980s), and it was such a mundane failure. Al Qaeda and ISIS are two sides of the same coin. If you support the Al Qaeda (to destroy the ISIS), then after sometime they are going to attack you by bombing the schools and public places in your country.

The CIA directer said they have foreseen the split after the death of Bin Laden but didn't expect the rise of ISIS. I hope the US do not secretly assist al qaeda (again) and let them battled it out in their territory and leave the rest of the world out of it.

No need to exploit this divide, I really don't think we should be in the middle east anymore. The US has no role to play there. What are we even fighting anymore!? Yeah, yeah "war on terror"... but I don't think this is a wise use of our resources. This whole situation is not as big a threat as it once was. The biggest threat we've had in modern times are security vulnerabilities, that's what caused 9/11. The only thing we have to do overseas is protect and advice our allies. Let the divide in the Muslim community of the middle east play itself out. We don't have to involve ourselves in every tragedy in Africa and the middle east. We have more urgent issues at home.

We're not doing right by our own citizens. Our citizens and our allies should be priority! When we've met most of their needs, maybe then we can go into some broken nation and try to get their people proper security, governments, lifestyle, etc. But right now, we just don't have the resources.

Maybe we will be lucky and they will kill each other, and we won't have any problems in the future That would be the best possible thing that can happen. They produce so many problems in today's world, and it is time someone to put an end to that.

America didn't go to the middle east or any other place to spread democracy. Or to improve security or lifestyle of people there. And it's not that America went there to fight terror. Iraq had nothing to do with terror until it was destroyed by years of sanctions and then war for example. America went there for the same reason it went into many other places. To keep control of the region and all other regions that depend on it for oil and other resources. And to funnel money to corporations, weapons manufacturers and military contractors. And I don't believe security vulnerabilities are the biggest threat. The biggest threat is the impact that the hundreds of thousands that died is having. And will have in the future. Radicalizing whole countries, sectarian conflicts, more terror attacks, waves of refugees, etc.

Well if want to Engineer another Libyan disaster, that would be the policy, but some people don't pay that much attention to this.
As it is it makes sense to put resources to combat ISIS and assist Al-Qaeda but then turn on them later just like with Gadaffi.

That said any program the US or Europe had to destabilize the region backfired when all the immigrants left the country to come to Europe although they do get money off the rich ones that leave the country as well it is a pain for them.

Best strategy here is sheer power although China and Russia are touching this grenade and its closer to their turf if the US wanted to leave.
