New design looks familiar Wink - but still great!

Took some inspiration from places yes in relation to the website yes you are correct :p but its the new pool design we need some feedback one Cheesy
http://pool.steakcloud.com

i much prefer this color and setup - as its easy on the eyes and nice to navigate - than the deep black you originally had ...

black background sites have a dark demeanor and 'frazzle' the eyes after a few minutes of staring into the screen ...

this color and format for the pool is easier to see / read ...

one issue you have is the graph on the dashboard ...

due to the non-uniform levels of hashrate of the various algos - the graph does not show anything of value ... especially for any other algo other than sha256 - and even moreso if you add other algos to the list eventually ...

if you had a smaller graphs that are separated and very close to one another - like three separate graphs for each algo - running across the top of the page ( or in the position that the big graph is in now ) then you would have a more detailed ( and better ) view of how things are going on a scalar level ...

right now - you cant see any other graph except for sha256 ... and for a gpu farm like mine - i dont care for that info anyway ...

hope that helps on a user point of view ...

#crysx

Thank you crysx,

We have been looking at doing a pool update for some time now. I was thinking of installing gauge type graphs or meters if you will, I think that would be cool!

The graphs we have at the moment are actually a lot cooler than they appear, SHA-256 can be switch off by users by clicking on sha256 under the graph, the same goes for the rest as well. There is also functionality for users to zoom into the graph by clicking and dragging... not sure anyone needs to do that but the function is there.

On the subject of the separate graphs, do you think gauge style graphs would be a good look?

o ok ...

i didnt realize you could switch off any of the algos ... tanx for that ...

but i guess the situation remains the same if they dont stay off on a refresh or a new visit to the pool - do they? ...

ive never been a fan of gauges - but a lot of people do like them ...

gauges usually tend to give static readings and i like historical reading so that i can see what has happened as well as what is happening insofaras hashrate is concerned ... which is why i like the smaller condensed period graphs that is currently used - but on a smaller scale AND separated so that i can each algo separately ...

but thats my preference - and im really old school ... or is it - that im just old ...

Smiley ...

Hi,

Someone in our community mentioned they'd like to be able to CPU mine and have it converted to MOIN - do you guys have any plans to add a CPU-only algo?

Hello Steakers!

We are always looking at new and exciting ways to make mining more profitable and rewarding, as such we have partnered with Bitcoin Oyster, a Bitcoin lottery website managed by one of our partner developers as trusted platforms and partnerships are our number 1 priority while we work to make a better altcoin environment.

For the next 24 hours all Steak Cloud miners will receive an entry into the Bitcoin Oyster lottery for every hour they mine with us, that's up to 24 entries!

Is this promo still available for SHA-256 miners?

If so can you tell me the procedure to undergo a valid entry to this contest?

Can I know which profitable coin is mining currently from dashboard?

And what is the minimum threshold needed for initiating payout?

Looking forward to mine at your pool Wink

Thanks for the prompt reply.  Smiley

Btw I was mining AntiBitcoins on your pool for about 4 hours approximately. Everything was working OK, my miners were at 100% efficiency and hashing at around 1.06 Th/s. But it was always showing that the value of This shift: 0.00

Can you tell me the reason for not increasing?

You're welcome Indianacoin,

Anti was only just added, we need to run a payout before this updates.
After the payout tomorrow you will see the "This Shift" update.

So I mined AntiBitcoin on your pool until the first shift is complete and my stats page was showing "Total amount paid to address: (147.67038794) ~Ƀ" today.

But I still did not receive that amount of coins on my address. Is there something wrong on your part?
Or is the payment has not been processed till now? Huh

I have stopped mining there until this resolves.
Please pm me for more details on my miner's status.

Hi Indianacoin,

We have an Alert on the news popup since the 13th to inform miners that there was a delay with payouts. There is nothing wrong and payouts were just sent, I was not able to oversee payouts as I had to travel at short notice, as a result I had to delay payouts to make sure everything was working correctly by overseeing payouts when I am online as I am now.

Your last payout was just sent, Steak Cloud hold all payout data and payout history in backups so there is no need to worry about any payout issues.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Hello I was mining Ambercoin a few days back using steakcloud, had 330 Amber under "This Shift" when suddenly it disappeared, then got my IP suspended without any warning or notice.(suspension has since ended) Now I am back it says I have earned 230 Amber Coin but yet I look in my wallet and have no such Amber. I decided to say hell with it and put some faith your way, threw my miners back up on SteakCloud, hoping there can be a resolution to this problem. Smiley
