I am selling the following very special 4 coin 2013 Casascius MS 69 set - 0.1 silver, 0.5 silver, 1.0 silver, 1.0 Silver Gold. Asking price for the set is 20 18 BTC

I am unaware of any other complete sets of 69's available. A couple of these coins have VERY low availibilities at these grades, making the set of all 4 particularly difficult to achieve.

0.1 silver. 1AgzLrvT. ANACS reference 4908272

0.5 silver. 1Ag2SJfx. ANACS reference 4908282

1.0 silver. 1AgycL4h. ANACS reference 4908261

1.0 silver and gold. 1Ag4njpm. ANACS reference 4584537

The 4 coin set

This sale is on behalf of HardBTC. They are his coins. I have graded them for him, and am now selling them on his behalf. The coins are in my possession, in the UK, and ready to ship. Shipping will be done via UPS and is included in the sale price. The cases you see the slabs in are included.

Escrow is naturally expected, and would be via one of the usual forum escrows to be mutually agreed at point of sale. Escrow fees will be the responsibility of the buyer. Escrow funds will be released to HardBTC.

Please be weary of scammers trying to request payment, if you show interest in the thread. By all means post offers publicly, but please also PM them to me, so that I can reply to your message. If you require anonymity, PM only, and your desire to remain anonymous will be respected. Agreements of a deal will only be made as a reply to a PM already sent by you. (include whatever identifier you want to show authenticity of reply)

Any questions, or additional images, please ask.

Thanks! To get the ball rolling, even though it isn't an auction, I'd be happy to offer 13 BTC for the set which at least sets a base price for you, either in BTC, DASH or GBP UK banking transfer as you preferred.

Thank you for the offer Otoh. While I am open to a little negotiation, that offer doesnt reach the level that I would expect for these coins. If they were sold as individual coins the sale price would significantly exceed that amount. The higher denomination coins are obtainable elsewhere, the lower denomination coins are significantly harder to acquire. The value here is that the full set is present as one lot, including those rarer denomination high grade coins.

Just imagine if he had the 10btc coins and an elusive 0.5 S2 to really complete the set...

The 10 BTC is 2012 if I recall right? So technically not part of the 2013 set (with worldcoins are "sets" divided in year).
Unless the complete set is defined as all the casascius silver coins, then should both version of the 10 BTC be there.
You could also argue that the "complete set" should have the st. Petersburg coin as well, even though it does not have a private key.

Cryptography is one of the few things you can truly trust.

Not even remotely close ....

A large lot was this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Large-Casascius-BTC-Collection-33-2-BTC-in-total-25-error-1st-month-/151269194729?nma=true&si=%252BUnyIx0%252FWCp%252FGxjuTQr2IP19icw%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

But the daddy of them all was this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BIG-Collection-Physical-Casascius-Lealana-Bitcoin-Litecoin-BTC-LTC-ANACS-Coins-/261337957731?pt=US_World_Coins&hash=item3cd8f4c563

Dont know if either sold as collections

The set is both year and grade combination. ie all 2013 silver coins that are at MS69.
The highest grade I know of for a 2013 0.5 S2 silver is only a single 67 (if anyone wants that one let me know)
St Petersburgs ... I have seen a few 68s, but no higher
Unsure what the best grades are for the 10's - I am sure Bitmarket will be the man in the know there

They're not elusive, people are just cheap. I could find you 4 or 5 of them by the weekend!

EDIT: ...but you're on your own with grading. Blazedout419's MS-70 with a chunk missing out of the rim should give you an idea of what an ANACS slab is worth.

No longer buying/selling Casascius coins. Beware scammers.

Dear God that is one wild collection jammed together in one eBay listing! The pictures didn't work for me, at least on my phone, but the description was jaw dropping.

@monkeynuts- This is a very impressive set you are selling for HardBTC. I wish you both luck with this sale!

Agreed, ANACS may not be perfect, but for now at least they are the best un-biased third party grading company we have to assign a grade to a coin so that we can value it easier/more uniformly.
