You could always try arbitrage trading by buying Bitcoins (or an alt coin) cheaper at an exchange and then sell them higher at another exchange. This is risky, but if done correctly you could earn a decent amount of profit. I've done this with NXT and earned $0.25 in profit. If you repeat this, you could get $1 in an hour or less.

yes ofcourse there  are some other methods avilable to where you can make 1$ hourly but as we can you have to work hard to earn that or you have to increase your capital or investments i am not talking abut the ponzi investments nor about the cloudmining investments i am talking about the investment on your own equiments or knowledge to improve your working capacity and the way the thinks works for you. suppose if you are new to a programming language and you want to know the basic lets take python as an example so what if you said "who will give me a python scrypt where he should show all the possible commands availible in python script and i will pay 0.01btc for this" so here you will spend 0.01btc but you will get a practical knowledge about that thing and this will also help you in future if you got stuck

Back to topic ,doing captchas can make you around 0.70 dollars hourly but a hard work on it,soo loan some btc ,trading and doing some faucets will be easy to reach those but well not for all day just at free time,and well signatures posting will also boost your income hourly but not alone  must connect others ways to achieve.
