after I sold everything on the way up.....

thought bitcoin would be dead by now, but it isn't. Seems kind of stable again.

coinbase has come a long way, the other exchanges look mostly crap as normal.

electrum with MFA is a very nice addition.

lots of vendors and precious metals dealers now take BTC which is a definite plus.

I still don't see that killer application though.

might be worth buying in, especially with the halving on the horizon.

What made you leave in the first place and what made you thought that Bitcoin would be dead by now?

Technically I didn't leave.

I thought it would be dead from either the nonstop debacles such as gox, or be dead from government  crackdown

Welcome back. Smiley

The price has been pretty stable since January indeed.
We have been in this 220 - 300 range for the longest time. So I can definitely understand your interest.

Ask the stranger he knows who you really are.

heh

maybe

im begining to hope more like 21 months to new all time highs?

if bitcoin is stable by the time the halving happens (around 10 months time I think?), something gotta give to the upside

Hello and welcome back. I hope you will enjoy Bitcoin again. I also hope that you will be helping the community like how you did in the past. No worries. Buy some Bitcoin while it is 'cheap' and you will get another good profit in a few years time. Looking at your post history, you may have lot of potential activity. Post everyday and maximize your rank on this board.

Have you checked out the thread Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? Do check out as I really want to know some mistakes early Bitcoiner did.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

Current price level seems very sustainable. Any dips below 200 were quickly turned around. Same to bounces to 300, within weeks it went back to 250 and then 230 where we still remain.

Maybe you can slowly reenter? Don't need to spend a significant amount of fiat in one go, you can spread it over a couple of months to avarage out your buy in price.

if you sold at very high level, it's a good time to buy again and take an huge profit, you can probably do x4 if you sold in the good old day of the 800-1200 range

So a lower price will draw old adaptors back into the fold? I see a lot of good things going on with bitcoin but at the same time it feels like online poker.
The best days where 2006 and peaked 2009ish and has been dwindling ever since. I think its a good connection due to how poker got regulated and banned Country to Country, which has made it that much harder to use.
If Bitcoin goes through a similar push,It has far less people to prop it up.

At the same time I am hopeful that something big comes out of bitcoin and pushes it forward into the limelight. Not for profit but more to implement the technology into every day living. Hate the banking system with a passion and dislike how a flick of the switch and the government can lock your bank account up. Had that happen to me once because they could not find my phone number which had been the same for over 10 years. Guess they where unwilling to look at tax returns for those details or w/e and caused me huge issues over something that was wrong on their end at the end of all the dust up.

Even with the price being stable and range bound nothing is certain as far as bitcoin is concerned. At least with the halving coming on next we should at least get some indication on where the direction of the coin is moving towards next
