Good looking service but 15% fee is quite high. Wouldn't a tip be needed to pay to the delivery person as well on top of this fee you are charging. Isn't tips for delivery now 20+% of total bill?
I don't know haven't ordered takeout delivery in ages but remember you need to leave them a tip or they will get upset some what.
It might be a little high, but it's negotiable and definitely varies with the amount of food I'm ordering. Just trying to make it worth my time, anywhere between 5%-12% is more realistic for what I'd charge. I worked as a delivery driver for a couple months and I literally didn't make a single tip, so I never tip delivery drivers now..
This is a novel idea, and the price is definitely NOT high for having to deal with placing the order, keeping the customer informed of the order, etc...
Just be careful @Ethanb on your end as well, cause if you''re indeed legitimate, I'm assuming you're placing these orders with your credit card? If so, EVENTUALLY some scammer here is going to have you call his friend who answers the phone "Scammers Pizza & Pasta what can I get you today?" Now these guys have all your credit card and personal info after you place your order. A scammer might risk $10 in bitcoin to get your info, and then because you have been placing orders all over the world, it will probably be hard to dispute an unauthorized charge with your credit card company. So try to stick to major chains that take online payment. Just food for thought :-)
But protect yourself and use a credit card with unlimited rewards points and you should be able to make some extra $. I would charge 10% MINIMUM period to do what you're doing and the risk involved. It's a very cool idea though, and I hope it stays legitimate on both ends.
Good luck to all parties involved!
