I can't imagine paper money ever being banned. I mean the idea is bizarre. Not only is it convenient, there's just too many people who will accept such a change.

Bitcoin and the blockchain technology is one of the best innovation a man had created. Thinking about the future, buying things or travelling without cash on hand is great, but i dont think that the government would allow the use of bitcoin worldwide and totally banning paper money. Banning paper money will take a very long process, considering the many changes that the government should make in order to a use a single crypto to be used worldwide. Additionally, not all people have phones or gadgets so they can receive or send crypto. There are also people who are not techie or not knowledgeable enough about bitcoin or using gadgets. If the government together with those who created the blockchain and bitcoin will join and work together, i think that would be possible. Or maybe they can do things or other ways to make it more easy and simple to use for the welfare of the citizens especially those old ones.

well, i think in the future, paper money will not exist in the current form (paper) and will surely change to other easier and cleaner ways like using a card instead of paper with more security too. but i don't think bitcoin is going to replace it mostly because that would mean the death of fiat which will never happen.

I think paper money will stay forever because it is the practice of everybody to use every day of the transaction and I think the government will not let the paper money disappear because it can be used by everyone especially the poor. and maybe even the bitcoin is legitimate to use and not lose paper money because maybe only those who use bitcoin are those who have the ability to use it.

I think the paper money remained on the force for another 10 years, then either the currency will completely replace everything or we will simply use plastic cards.

Paper money will not stay because our world is slowly evolving and that is why we should not be confident that paper money will not get replaced because the real thing is, the government will get into the flow and they will develop their own cryptocurrency that will be the replacement of the fiat currencies to avoid inflation since they cannot create more and more coins as they want because it should be regulated to avoid unnecessary things.

I'm sure that whenever paper money will exist, this is because transactions that do not use the internet is still more dominant, and of course the small transaction value will definitely use paper money.

Fiat money will sure survive and it will be used for hundreds or years more. Yes, inflation and deflation can happen, but paper money is what people trust always. IMHO.

I do not think that anyone in England, nor in the UK, nor in the whole world can easily adapt to a digital economy, because in order to adapt to this, it would be necessary to have internet worldwide. In the case of England, it is not a region where bitcoin or altcoins are managed in a high percentage, many do not even know how to enter common banking transactions on a computer ... It would take a long time to achieve it.

Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:
Paper money will be banned entirely? How long do you think that happens? would it work? What security and privacy risks would it raise? And how would public and privately issued monies interact?
The paper money will change into digital money like bitcoin. Many people uses bitcoin to earn money and to invest money. The paper money cannot grow by itself unlike in btc can rise up the value by itself

its true that there is no chance of paper money to be ban because before crypto everyone they depend on paper money and still now a days there are also a lot of people who are going to fallow paper money and there is no doubt that paper money have still importance because there are alot of people around the world who don't know about crypto they just believe on cash money so i think with crypto paper money will also survive.

I think the paper money will remain there will never be replaced and no one will forbid it. Even though it happens, I think it's impossible, because I'm sure there is no paper money that can replace and forbid it. If bitcoin will be printed, then what is the value of the price? whether certain or not I believe in digital currency (bitcoin) even though the price is higher than paper money but the price has to go up and down is not fixed.

Maybe for decades or more years, yes .. People prefer paper money, and that has become the custom of daily transactions. I think it is difficult to remove the banknotes, unless developed countries can ..

I think during that time btc would be used the same way as how we use credit cards today. so we'll have more options but in general, paper money would still be the one mostly used.bitcoin is a reformer at the same time the future for financial transactions in the world.

For sure someday the paper money will be gone for ever the world is going digital and we won't be needing papers anymore yet I dont know if its going to be based on bitcoin I dont even know idmf it going to be a cryptocurrency. Bitcoin can be used as a currency yet the only thing we have to fix in it is the volatility issue.

Paper money does not have a future, at least because of the production theses. As soon as a method of fast currency exchange appears with the help of electronic means available to everyone, paper money will quickly lose its popularity.

It is a matter of time that paper money will be eliminated. It is expensive to print especially when there is a need to constantly make a better "paper money" to prevent counterfeiting. If you look at today's paper money, you will see lots of features that are not only printed but also inserted on and within some paper currencies.
Blockchain currencies will eliminate the need to print. It is ecologically cleaner and each additional dollar does not need to be printed..just a click of a button so to speak. Big printing mills can stop making money. There wont be a need to take back old paper money and print new notes every year.
Paper money is not green. Its carbon footprint is too large. Cryptocurrencies is green and eliminates counterfeiting and makes every dollar and how it is earn or spend transparent so that taxation is absolute. What is there not to like about cryptocurrencies.
it is a matter of time that government will stop printing paper money and issue crypto currencies.

It is only a matter of time when will first blockchain be used in bank systems an they are very smart people and they will find their ways to reduce influence of bitcoin, this is certain. Nobody will watch this rise without interfering. This leads us to regulations and this is way of accepting of bitcoin so we all must vote for regulations.
