When posts count here changed to leet instead of counting can anybody explains what this means?

i have never seen it but maybe its a joke. 1337 is often written as leet...

i have never seen it but maybe its a joke. 1337 is often written as leet...

I believe melisande's post count went from 1335 to 1336, and then to "leet", and then to 1338.

"1337" is an alternative way of writing "elite".

as other people said "leet" is code for 1337 in elite speak.  You can look it up on wiki.
