i have never seen it but maybe its a joke. 1337 is often written as leet...

Hmmm exactly what happened when I reached 1337 I saw leet and when I checked http://bitsig.website/beta my post was -1337 meaning I owe 0.93btc with my current payment level and that really shocked me but if it a joke it must be a really nice one

I believe melisande's post count went from 1335 to 1336, and then to "leet", and then to 1338.

"1337" is an alternative way of writing "elite".

as other people said "leet" is code for 1337 in elite speak.  You can look it up on wiki.
