I store my bitcoins on an online wallet protected by 2fa. So every time I access my account, I will receive a 6 digit code that I need to enter before I am able to access my account. The only risk that I have is I hope I will not lose my phone like I misplace it or get robbed.
I used to do that as well but became a hassle when for example I forget my phone(yup seriously forget it sometimes). Now I just use bitcoin core on my home PC, and work comp(no one has objected yet) along with updated antivirus although not sure if antivirus can protect from viruses or malware that effect my wallet.dat

That happened to me several times already that I forgot my phone in my house. It's troublesome because I have to call my wife and look for my phone and check the messages for any code sent by the wallet provider. I'm OK with it.

I too use online XAPO wallet and blockchain wallets. I don't keep all coins at one place.

I have one question on desktop wallet. In case you need to reformat your PC due to some attack or some other reason but you don't have option to transfer coins from your desktop pc wallet before formatting. Then can we still recover our coins from wallet after the PC reformat done?

Thanks.

Myself also prefer blockchain.onfo. Because I can access my bitcoina anywhere in the world in just a matter of seconds. I store my bitcoin in blockchain and my private keys in my desktop.

I'm still saved on blockchain. Recently blockchain have a problem so I decide to move another wallet program such as multibit.
Just copy blockchain's private key to get your balance as same as blockchain's

I personally use a mixture of Greenaddress and Coldstorage.

I was considering creating my own Multisig address to store however.

I store my bitcoins into a cold storage bitcoin address as explained in bitcoin.it wikipedia. I believe in the developers of bitcoin so I follow their steps to secure my bitcoin.

I currently have mine in cold storage using a paper wallet and with another smaller portion on an old laptop which is not connected to the internet. The beauty of bitcoin is that you can find creative ways to hide away the private keys so long as nobody gets to see it. Some innovative ways like having these stamped onto a metal plate or even use some clever secret code encryption that you develop your own. The options are limitless.

About 99% is stored in a cold wallet. The remaining 1% are stored at an major exchange for day 2 day use.
After Mt gox I wouldn't recommend storing any major amount at an exchange.

i think the best strategy is to split your bitcoins in several storage. I have my bitcoins in hardware wallet, cold storage, cloud storage etc

What a stupid question. On the blockchain. That's the only place bitcoin can be stored.
