Up front, I'm a newbie using a used Antminer S5.  I got everything set up and working, and the thing is hashing at around 1.1 - 1.2  even though it's slightly under clocked.  I replaced the main fan with two quieter fans, and even in my office I can keep it around 74 degrees.  I've flashed  it with the latest OS, (fan control update) and have it on a brand new 850 watt power supply. THe fact that it's used caused me some concern, but the things seems to be running very well.

The thing is, I've never seen the green light!  Right now it's humming along nicely but the red light is flashing 1 second on, and 1 second off.  I've searched, pretty extensively, but can't seem to find out what this is indicating.  Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Basically it work just fine with the common issue. It arise after you flash the fan control firmware. I do not have that issue, but it is a common issue. So maybe its a PCB version thing.

Also, there is no green light. Beside the ones on the boards.

Thank you for the reply!  Thought I had searched thoroughly, but sometimes you miss the right search key words.  Glad to know I'm not alone.

Thanks again.
