Two sources close to Kentucky country clerk Kim Davis tell Breitbart News that the gay men whose demand for a marriage license started her on a path to jail for five days are again trying to get her locked up.

These are the men who were seen on video shouting at Davis and demanding she issue them a marriage license in accord with the Supreme Court Obergefell decision that imposed gay marriage on the country. When she refused, Federal judge David Bunning jailed her for five days.

While Davis was in jail, her staff issued a marriage license to the two men, though without her name attached to it. The license was issued in the name of the clerk’s office. The two men were satisfied, as was Judge Bunning and the Governor of the State of Kentucky.

Upon her return, Davis began issuing licenses with “Pursuant to Federal Court Order” affixed. This newest version of Rowan County licenses did not affect the license issue to the two men. Even so, the men are back, saying the license they were so happy with a few weeks ago, is not sufficient They are demanding that Davis issue a new license with her name on it.

It is as if the two men believe the Supreme Court ordered Davis specifically to issue marriage licenses rather than simply guaranteeing that someone will issue marriage licenses to them.

This sets up yet another challenge for Davis and almost certainly for Judge David Bunning. Davis will without a doubt refuse. Bunning may determine that the men must be satisfied with the license they received.

Davis is at the Values Voter Summit this week. You can see her and her husband surrounded by a scrum of supporters and media. She receives an award from the Family Research Council tonight.

Kentucky clerk Kim Davis, a longtime Democrat, says she is switching to the Republican Party because she feels abandoned by Democrats in her crusade against same-sex marriage.

"I've always been a Democrat, but the party left me," Davis said, according to Bansley.

She sparked a national furor by refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples after the Supreme Court effectively legalized gay marriage in June. A federal judge ordered Davis to issue the licenses, but she refused, and opted to spend five days in jail rather than license a gay marriage. The ordeal propelled her to folk hero status among some on the religious right.

Davis was elected Rowan County clerk last fall as a Democrat. She replaced her mother, also a Democrat, who served as county clerk for 37 years.
But Republicans, not Democrats, came to her defence.

Davis meanwhile lumps blame for her legal problems on Steve Beshear, the state's Democratic governor, who refused to call the state legislature for a special session and allow lawmakers to hammer out a way to exempt religious clerks from issuing the licenses. The governor instead told clerks to either issue the licenses or resign.

Gay "couples" marry only to gain welfare payments. Unlike the heterosexual couples, there is no loyalty to the spouse. "Then those that issued same sex marriage licenses when it was illegal should be arrested as well!" example

No, smoking weed isn't totally like a specifically constitutionally protected act.  Exactly the opposite.  

1.  Marriage -
State law issue.  Until the recent Scotus decision.

2.  Weed -
Federal law issue.  No Scotus decision.  No "Right."  A couple states make it legal, but it is still illegal at the federal level.
