Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

These are the best type of things I read on this forum. I'm glad to see it, it's as step in the right direction.

they have taken 3 bitcoin payments this week.  I am sure they will update their website at some point.  having a website is not urgent for this type of business, as almost all of their reservations are done by phone.

Bitpay is a concept/company I really want to see prosper in a big way, because if it does, I think a lot of us here on this forum are going to be rather well off in the semi-distant future. Cheesy

Just submitted for a fee quote for La Guardia to Time Square.  If they are competitive, I'll use them.

yup,

Just submitted for a fee quote for La Guardia to Time Square.  If they are competitive, I'll use them.

except I never got a response, so no BTC for them... Sad

Not sure if they are still accepting bitcoin, or accepting rides from La Guardia to Time Square, or answering queries through their website.

I forget what my exact query was through their website, but I think I tried calling and got no answer.

Better luck to the next person!
