Pretty much what the description says Wink.

Now that we know BFL may launch in Nov to Dec. any shot at 50 coins a block or nope?

Oh Loaded, who art up in Mt. Gox, hallowed be thy name!  Thy dollars rain, thy will be done, on BTCUSD.  Give us this day our daily 10% 30%, and forgive the bears, as we have bought their bitcoins.  And lead us into quadruple digits

Probably not...chances are we'll hit the block reward cut before we get the new devices. I don't see anything wrong with that either. With the reward split and no new devices, I'm sure we'll see a drop off in difficulty as GPU farms start to shutdown due to lack of profitability.

Oh, and the "Maybe" options are misleading. BFL released a statement on shipping noting it was going to be random...pulling from not only top of the list purchasers, but middle and bottom as well to spread out who gets what.

Oh?  Did they change the 1/3rd rule as originally planned?  Should check that link above that was made.  Thanks.

The final 1/3 of BFL's shipping, the randomly picked ones, will still only come from the first month of pre-orders. You can't place an order now, and hope it gets into the final 1/3.

I've said it before in another thread, but I'll say it again; I predict ASIC manufacturers will do what is best for the market they serve, which would be releasing batch-1 shortly after the block reward halving. Less volatility in BTC supply this way. Predicting early early December release.
