Hey all.

////////////////NOTE////////////////
As much as i dont like the government, i might even "hate" them as much as everyone here, i have to say that have done 1 pr 2 things right....
////////////////NOTE////////////////

So yea, if the government was never created, we could possibly be ether extinct by now, or it would be the wild wild west AROUND THE WORLD.
But enough about history lol, lets take how bitcoin might not have been made or as great as it is without help from the government.

--- Also fuck all you asswipes who claim (some)bitcoin users as dicks for using government stuff such as money, or assistance. Unless you live on another world or dimension somehow all the bitcoins you spend get transfered to some form of government money, and without that bitcoin might not be as successful and might be worth $0.01 today like in 2009.
-- Also trollers yes my sentences run on and my spelling sucks, well you are not perfect ether, no human is!

ANYWAY, Some part of the government made sha-256 (which bitcoin uses) and government help/funded TOR. (Also which brings me back to the note about super anti government haters, how can you hate something that you say you will never use yet you use TOR?)

So yea you cant hate 100% the government - they made bitcoin secure.

(*waiting* for the trolls/haters to post)

I think this falls broadly along the line of the "who'd build/edumakate da roadz?" strawman, carrying the implication that these achievements could not have been fulfilled sans central government. Surely similar or better things could be or have been achieved through mutual peaceful co-operation as via the violent monopoly of the State?

I don't believe anarchists oppose the government on the grounds they think the government is wrong 100% of the time. They oppose it on principle.

I believe the lack of free market actually forces people to come up with solutions to the problem that is "government". Fortunately bitcoin evolved, but without the "government" being in the equation what would be the need for bitcoin? It could protect against failure of centralizated entities, but I think the motivation to create bitcoin when you are not being suppressed wouldn't be all that great.

E-currencies such as e-gold would have worked great in a free market without government interference. Since e-gold was shut down by government, bitcoin came to take it place.

I hate almost any government in world because they do it wrong, do it for wrong reasons, or do it to benefit for wrong people! But even the most despicable people in government apparatus sometimes say something that is right and true. So it is no surprise that some technology made by government is good for our cause. Technology itself is largely neutral including guns. It matters how we use them.

So yea, if the government was never created, we could possibly be ether extinct by now, or it would be the wild wild west AROUND THE WORLD.

The old west had a much lower crime rate per capita than today. Except, of course, where the "wild wild west" was actually created by the government - where only criminals had guns and all their victims were disarmed and defenseless by law.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

When civilians are disarmed by government, they are shot by criminals. When both criminals and civilians are disarmed, the victims are killed by axe or kitchen knife. I prefer to be armed and shoot attackers back to hell with 50/50 chance to be shot myself. But in extreme gun control states when criminals start using axes - I prefer to be shot at least, less painful.

Somalia is the wild west, everybody wanders around with a gun. Since there's no laws guess you can't commit any crime

There are laws in Somalia. It is a theocracy under Sharia Law and many others.

When it was lawless, it wasn't half-bad.

So laws and government were invented by people who were tired to bring AK-47 with them all the time? The original AK-47 is very light and easy to carry compared to any other weapon in world.

It was made for traitors of foreign nations to hide the fact that they talk to CIA while pretending they are browsing for child porn or whatever. Tor have many uses.

They probably have learned something from PGP back in 1990-ties. Knowledge and information cannot be controlled and contained like ammunition are. Classifying PGP software code as ammunition was schizophrenic. They better give money for development and be the first ones to get to use the newest technology and not to be second ones behind some overseas corporation or russians.
