I'am not sure what you are trying to say here , most of people use Exchanges . I personally don't because I found them full of bullshits and they ask too much personals informations which defeats the purpose of using BItcoin on the first place . So I simply use Currency exchange section on Bitcointalk or other forums to make my trades and that's it .

unique ways? i just buy through my local bitcoin exchanger, i know the company, they company profile is clear and they're trusted exchanger, but i'm not keep my coins there for long term, just use for buy/sell. i'm too skeptic to trade with people to buy or sell bitcoin.

There isn't any innovative ways to buy bitcoin. You can summarise into 3 types: 1. buy from exchange (online or atm) 2. buy from a person with another money payment system (forum or face-to-face) 3. sell things for bitcoin (products and services)

I've considered myself lucky to live in Belgium because it's so easy to buy bitcoins here and in The Netherlands. I just use the service http://www.bitonic.nl and pay through online banking. I get the coins instantly after paying and their fees are actually pretty cheap.

In my country I can buy from coinhako almost instantly with bank account. They charge around 1 to 2% fee but some times they give offer with less than 1% fee.
So for I didn't buy coins in any unique way. And I sold my coins on this forum for some decent profits.

there are only two possible ways, buying on any exchange or privately, i can't find other way sincerely
i like to buy on exchange because usually, buying privately cost you 5% more, and you need an escrow and other crap like that

Honestly I earn bitcoin from signature campaign so I never buy bitcoin ever since I know it. About selling bitcoin, I have my own local exchanger that able to convert bitcoin into my local currency. I just need ask him via BlackBerry how much the sell price today...If the price is same as I want to, I will sell it to him and the return he will send payment to my local bank

You can also get arrested by the undercover agents if you buy them locally, person to person and you are doing this in the US.

Unless they are into Bitcoin too, lol Two federal agents who took part in the US government's efforts to take down illicit online black market Silk Road have been charged with fraud for allegedly misusing funds denominated in bitcoin while on assignment

You can get license but I am afraid that you will need a lot of money to get it. At this point it won't be worth trading bitcoins on localbitcoins anymore!

what are you trying to ask by "unique" ? You can just trade bitcoin the same way as you do money Infact the best way to sell bitcoin is using localbitcoins face to face deal,it's the most safest and secure way too. You can also exchange bitcoin to other e-currency that you think can be converted in your local currency(look in exchange currency section) If you want to buy bitcoins, again best way is to buy using localbitcoins.

in India bitcoins are still not clear what they are doing. i used to get from signature campaign and doing sports betting and save it in my hardware wallet. buying and selling through is highly risky through exchanges because most of the exchanges are scammers , when you do small trading they will do it smoothly but once you do any big trade you will start facing problems. local transaction i use 1 or 2 times it went smoothly

I use different methods of buying bitcoins 1. with alt-coins 2. With fiat For the alt coin buying I relay on many trusted exchanges. For buying bitcoin with Fiat I use Localbitcoins, I need to travel to sellers , only in person I do buy bitcoins.

Just naming options off the top of my head, not really unique but putting them on the table for you:
1) buy from an exchange 2) buy in an in-person trade or OTC 3) buy from a bitcoin ATM 4) buy direct from miners, private sellers, second markets, in bulk 5) buy altcoins and trade for bitcoins, etc.
Hope this helps.

OVER 9000!
But, srsly, alot of exchanges exist, so I would not doubt it if it was over 9000.
