Activity and rank come shortly after you read the sticky -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=177133.msg5106206#msg5106206

Trust comes when someone leaves you a rating. Different people leave ratings for different reasons thus there is no sure answer for that. Most involve some sort of trade though.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Trust doesn't increase over time. It is mainly given by other people in this community who either trust you or not. Given that positive trust rating could only be achieve by having someone give you the rating, that shouldn't be a ground to exploit the trust rating system e.g. buying trust.

I understand that, what I meant about trust is when do the number of trust vouches make your feedback numbers turn color?

Actually, trust scores do grow over time here. If I give you a +1 today it is worth more the longer it remains to a max of +10.

light green at 5, dark green at 10 IIRC. (corrected below)

Trust gains strength over time. The rating gains upto 10 points for each month since it was given.

E.g. with only default trust my current rating is:  6: -0 / +1

Its 6 points, 0 negative ratings, 1 positive rating

Its 6 points because I got the positive rating 6 months (2015-03-27) ago. This will increase every month until its maxed out at 10.

5-14 trust point = light green.
15+ trust point = dark green.

note that trust point is different from feedback. read this.

whoops late.

Activity is updated every 2 weeks. Rank increases after you get double the amount of activity from your last rank. You get trust by selling things and getting trusted.

Does this mean that the activity counter gets updated every two weeks or it updates every 2 weeks to look if you have enough to increase your rank?

Because the days before i got upgraded to member i could literally watch my activity increasing. Until i got upgraded and activity 70. Then it stopped increasing and I have 70 for about nearly 2 weeks now...

Is this normal?

Thanks Smiley

Thank you for posting that sticky.  I am baffled as to why newbies cannot read these
things. Threads get started constantly asking about when people rank up.  It's all there.

As for trust, that's up to you and if you do deals here or if you're helpful to the forum. It does
not come automatically, i.e., you have to earn it.  Don't be too anxious about it and I would
suggest not seeking trust actively.  It arouses suspicion in the community and you could
even get tagged for it.

I would also suggest locking the thread if you've gotten your answer.
