Of course I'm a believer, and all your statement is right for me
To believers, it’s the future of money, privacy and payments, the end of greedy banks and the fall of government fiat currencies.
The privacy is the most important thing for me, that's why I use Bitcoin. Smiley

After seeing some of the billionaire controlling the price of bitcoin using lots of their fiat currency mostly from china. Within 6-8 hour period price swing from 500 to 368$ which will be totally unacceptable by the one who like to hold bitcoin for daily uses and they will become panic and sell all of their coin again to those billionaires or whales. Due to this I doubt on its mass adaption in future.

If you believe the future of bitcoin and are not a day trader, it is better to hold your bitcoin. It is impossible for small fish to make profit in the game of whales. Those whales will eat the small fish.

What is Bitcoin and what will it become?
To believers, it’s the future of money, privacy and payments, the end of greedy banks and the fall of government fiat currencies.
To critics, it’s an elaborate scam, the currency of cyber villains, a threat to sovereign states.
To others, it’s already nothing, practically dead on arrival.

In which side are you?

It's gonna be all or nothing.

If we are still here it will be just growing. Everything is depend from believers and power. It is easy to notice that Bitcoin supporters are young people, and young people are the future!

At current floor price I think I can say there is really a future in bitcoin from $200 it goes up to $400. Maybe it will go down again soon but atleast we know price will still goes up again soon. Price is changing every moment which is good for the traders.

Positive thinking. That is what is mostly needed now. 400 is a good price to stay for now. No more going down. Maybe waving a little but not totally down. Yes and that is a good sign. We all saw it getting high so there is a chance it will go back again up there to where it belong.
One more good sign? It is seen by many people.

All we can do is hope, no one actually knows what the price will be.  I for one think it will keep going up and moving up, hopefully I will be able to retire one day on it!

What future can have something based on HYIPs(ponzi schemes), back market and speculation? This is the real BTC.

Without these 3 "factors", BTC value will be near zero.

I wish bitcoin would be worth at least $10000 each when you retire. Best of luck!  Wink

I hope Bitcoin will first become main internet currency. After we achieve that, and Bitcoin reach enough stability price wise, only sky is the limit.

But till 99% bitcoin are mined out, and the demand for bitcoin goes normal, we cannot expect a stable place for bitcoin. The price of bitcoin is activated by supply and demand. Even once the bitcoin supply goes to zero, but we can see rising demand. So there are lot chances for rocket speed prices. That's the future of bitcoin.

After a few halving, the effect of newly mined coins will be much smaller as the fresh coins are much smaller in number. The price will be stable in about 20 years.

The future of bitcoin depends on the awareness of ordinary people and if they can understand the benefit of bitcoin.

The future of bitcoins will be good only as you said more companies should accept it as a regular currency to buy items otherwise it will not grow bigger if it used only for gambling or gray transactions. So one can't guaranty what will happen to the bitcoin prices over 5 years time.

Yes on the future maybe. If it will be used by many companies. But for now we are like in the air just staying there with nowhere to land. Bitcoin needs to be accepted with a lot of people before it will be used frequently. It is like a vote in this days always. The more the merrier.

As time goes on, the usage of bitcoin for gambling and grey market transactions will be lower compared to other "legit" application. It will be used in banking, online purchasing and other legit transactions. It will take many decades to achieve the status of US dollar, but we have hope.

There are ideas on how to make bitcoin physical. But those are still ideas. It will be a great step for bitcoin if that will be done. But some will also decline and oppose to those ideas. There are possibilities that should be studied before going to a step or a leap.
