Currently not looking too good. Probably will be at least +5%. I guess the shipping delays didn't stop the hashrate increase.

It makes you wonder of the hardware volume the other companies are Onlining. We're pretty much stalking and basing many analysis about what Bitmain will online next but the truth is i don't even think 51%+ of the hashrate comes from Antminers.

And while most companies are telling us home miner to fuck off, they are most likely thriving behind closed doors. Ugh.

well a price crash may help but I have a lot of money out at risk.

3 s-7's  and about 5 btc left on a contract with bitmaintech.

thats is around 29 coins. and 2 btc in sidehack sticks so I am over 31 coins in gear at the moment .

not sure I want a price crash.

by the looks of it .. its bitfury!.. they are currently with 20 % of the blocks for the day.  Makes sense since they have there 16nm under there belts.  ugh. looks like my guess was a bit conservative Undecided

well if this keeps up maybe it wasnt variance after all.. May have to revive the 100 peta thread Grin

I hope bitfury did not kick in more hash.   Add the S7's to come this likely could hurt on difficulty changes.    I have it's variance.

Only good news is btc price has been really steady were talking 238-239 for a few weeks at this point?  So we are seeing some stability on price. If we could only get some low difficulty changes now.

Bitfury was always around 15-20% for the day for the last few months or so. KNCMiner was always around 5-10%.

When Bitfury turns on their new gear, we will know it for sure since they are saying the total hashrate will exceed 1,000,000,000 Hash/s.

Im sure they are working overtime to get it up and running since each day costs them hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I hope not either no offense Smiley.  I was hoping for a week of 2 or so with China having a holiday.  But seems my wish is not happening.

Anyone have a good idea where this hash is coming from?  Are S7's hitting peoples door's from batch one on ones that did not get it yet?  Something is happening for 4 percent (lets hope variance and goes down)

They are saying that they want to open a new facility with 100MW capacity. Their new hardware will be less than 0.1W/GH. So yes, they alone will be able to put over 1 Exahash into bitcoin hashrate (over 200% increase in diff). Even if this take a year to complete it means ~40PH of hashrate added every diff adjustment.

Under development Modular UPGRADEABLE Miner (MUM). Looking for investors.

I think this rise we're seeing right now is what we were expecting to see the last two adjustment periods.  I'm guessing we underestimated how long it would take mines to unbox, install, and configure the new hardware and it's only just now coming online.  Batch 2 and 3 of the S7 will probably show their hash in another 4 weeks or so.

Until Bitfury has a completed and working facility I don't put much weight behind claims of this and that.  Put up or shut up, as they say.  With the halving coming soon anything not online yesterday is going to have a hard time justifying expenses, especially something the size of the alleged Exahash facility.  And with the fact that difficulty cannot change by more than a factor of 4 each period it would take several adjustment periods for the diff to catch up if a facility like that was simply switched on at once.

well idk but bitfury sure has got one heck of a jump in luck on there blocks if its not a hash rate increase.. btc.com showing almost 25 % now for the 1 day  https://chain.btc.com/en/stats/pool?pool_mode=day

ok someone tell me what the click n drag format is and I'll be happy to join that club as well!

I thought my guess was going to be high until today.
Bitmain, and other companies of course, are hashing away.I wonder what that many S7s (that are sold) hashing away brings in in a week?

I am going to have to get the paid address out and check it again later. Damn I bet it is a good week to party in China. I wanna go again now. Smiley

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function.
Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.

I posted like this;

+4.76% to +5.00% VirosaGITS

The difficulty look pretty smooth at the moment but i'm betting that quite a few S7 will come online before the difficulty change and that will result in a higher difficulty raise than the last one.

And i believe more and more people post like this, so Phil only has to copy paste or click and drag the text. I'm guessing sometime after my post he started thanking people for posting in "click n drag format" as he call it.

In short, he get to not go through the trouble of looking up and typing/copy pasting everyone's name one by one.

This week might hurt on difficulty change.  Bitwisdom keeps going up:

Bitcoin Difficulty:    60,813,224,039
Estimated Next Difficulty:    63,926,533,898 (+5.12%)
Adjust time:    After 1358 Blocks, About 9.1 days
Hashrate(?):    457,252,209 GH/s

I really wonder if Bitmain is filling up a data center testing S7's that need to go out after holiday.   Someone is putting some more hash up.

ok someone tell me what the click n drag format is and I'll be happy to join that club as well!

Smiley

I posted like this;

Exactly correct. If  some one posts

I  would like +10.01-10.25

I need to type

+10.01% to +10.25%  forumName

But if they type it out  like above format.

I click and drag it in. Between this thread and the sidehackstick solo club thread.  I spend a lot of time.

Anything making it easy for me is worth a thanks to you.
