PoS coins, DMD and CLAM, highly recommended.

they lose value quite fast(diamond last time i checked was 200k now below 100), so i would not really recommend them, and in the best case you would earn few pennies

not worth the effort

I wonder where you saw that the Diamond loses its capitalization? especially digits 200k

CLAM goes batshit crazy when btc also appreciates in value. Also, where have you seen those digits of dmd btw? o.o These altcoins mentioned are closely tied to btc as I observed. A nice investment actually if you look deeper into it.

it was 200k not long time ago on cryptsy, talking about mere price, then 86k now 76k, how can you trust such volatility....

we have already the problem of this with bitcoin, no need to increase it with other altcoin

p.s. i'm talking about value in bitcoin, not $, 200k satoshi, 86k satoshi etc...

My coins are idle. I save 99% of my coins and use some to buy goods. I buy back the used coins from exchanges.

Any thoughts on investing in ethereum?

Eth? No, just no. If you have  read an article on how the devs managed their funds (esp. Buterin), you wouldn't have a second thought but not to look into investing at the  coin again.

I keep my idle coins untouched for the most part. Or should I say: I am holding them. From occasional selling the excess of my coins, 95% of my coins are kept safe.

There must be a way of getting your Bitcoins to use in some 'Enterprising project'. I have been really racking my brain for ideas of how to 'invest' my Bitcoins or put them to good use somehow.
My thoughts are to invest them into business (as you would with fiat money), but somehow keep the exposure to the currency (Bitcoin)......
Any ideas?

Yes. That was what I believe too. I recall it was Microsoft who expressed interest in ether tech? Or am I mistaken?

I store them offline. No point in having them online if you're not going to use them.
I'm saving them up for a day when I'm in need of money for now. It's like my savings account.

I believe the coins you hold must grow in numbers as well. Although passively it grows in value, the numbers should also grow too. Recently, I;m exploring investment options in dice sites. So far, moneypot has been positive.

A great place to park your idle coins and earn more is bitvest.
It's a plinko BTC game that is all off chain and has a 1.7% house edge.
It features 2 chats with rainbots and it also has open public investing which you can deposit BTC into.
You can also leverage your investment 5x and this can further increase your profits as well.
I highlly suggest checking it out if you are looking for a descent way to grow your idle coins.

1.7% house edge. That is interesting. What is your experience with the site (investment option) so far? I will take a look and click on your referral link tomorrow. Thanks for pointing out! Smiley

OP should understands what idle means, so idle coins are staying in a wallet that does not have any spending output so these are just hold there for a long time.

I just keep my idle bitcoins in my cold wallet. I don't spend the ones I got in that wallet.
Everything else are on a a couple of wallets spread out.

Haha. Yes you are right. Thanks for pointing it out.  I have 2 portions of coins - one portion that is idle doing nothing. Another portion which I feel should be working for me.
