I agree that the house always wins in the long run.  I like the entertainment of betting and sometimes I get lucky.
I play in poker and bet on sports , that's my game.
Everyone should start playing skill games/where the chances of winning is good, the two games you mentioned poker and sports are where one can profit. but folks want to try their luck on higher odds, that's why they lose a lot.

the problem with gambling is not choosing the game with the best odd for you. It is choosing the game that you enjoy the most. So a lot of people like to play lottery although it gives you the least odd.

Even if you find the best game you still will end up losing more then you win. It's simply not possible for the masses to earn from gambling, because the house will get bankrupt if most people would win

Basically while they're gambling the more you play of course higher chance of losing because if you dont have luck and experience better not to gamble. And those who have experience with it and by winning they are just being lucky, because when you do not win the attempt to play again. If you already win, quit already.
Yes, I also suggest those people who do not have any experience in gabling to not to play here, otherwise they will lose all of their collected money and after that they will remain nothing to play again or to start any other good business.

Not many gambler play just for fun/enjoyment, some play to win money. with lottery/luck based game winning consistently isn't possible, those who play lottery just for fun have to pay expensive price for their enjoyment.

Should I say majority play for money or profit, only rich play for fun because they can afford to lose their bets. And those who play for fun are those who lose in the long run because they do exercise careful study on their bets and just bet base on their heart.

Let's be honest. Gambling should only be considered for entertainment purposes only. If you are in need of quick cash, doing hard dirty work is more often than not better than hitting up the casino sites. I see way too many people in this section try to justify their gambling habits by saying they have strategies to always win. Others on this forum will go as far as to say that they are professional gamblers, and they always win. You're fooling no one and you look stupid.

All the gambling addicts I knew in real life who claimed to win from casinos all the time had serious mental issues. I went gambling with that guy once, and he ended up blaming me for him loosing at Pai Gow poker, a game that's 100% chance.

And just to let you guys know, ALL the casinos in my jurisdiction say the same things in public advertising campaigns. So far, my sig campaign manager has not PM'ed me telling me to quit bashing gambling. Nobody wins gambling, so lets stop pretending anyone here makes a living gambling online.
No,i dont think gambling only for entertaiment purpose, people play gambling for earn more money, even i know some people play it only when they boring, but lets see casino industry on macau or vegas, did you think people there play only for entertaiment?

Mostly yes. And what do you think? Do you really believe they are making money with gambling? Most rich people gamble just to deal with their depression, they are not going to win and actually they don't want to. After losing some they feel much better, that's why they are gambling in the first place.

well a lot of rich people really go there for fun. however, 99.99% of us go there is hoping to win. but regardless of win or loss, we still enjoy the process and that is why people keep returning.

It is almost impossible for people to make a profit in the long run when it comes to gambling. I am sure that it has happened to some people but surely not to the majority.
So I suggest that you do not expect this to happen if you are gambling much.

There is a big chance that you can lose a lot of money with gambling and that is because you need to be really lucky in gambling otherwise it will be not possible to make any profit.
And luck happens not that often in gambling so that is bad.

I'm not so dependent on luck because for me if it's really for you then it will be given to you. But still the will is on your on hand, you can be optimistic and hope for the win. Just accept what would be the result because it's all about taking risk.

Yup that is correct because the game plan in gambling is not really a game plan, because it is base on luck and you can never be always independent on luck alone because sometimes you need to guess to win big in gambling, that is what I see in gambling right now!

I totally agree with you. I am an ex-gambler and still have the strong urgency to play dice. I have lost a fortune from gambling. I could have bought 3 Bitcoins by now if I hadn't gambled and done 'hard dirty work'. I always urge people no to gamble and still will.  Smiley

People who are addicted to gambling will stay away from gambling only if they don't have money in their wallet, and if they have money then no one can stop them from gambling again.

Well it depends what you're gambling on.
Poker for instance has also a lot to do with skills and strategies.
Football bets are also kind of controllable. The key is never to become greedy and take too much risk.

of course the first goal is to get people gambling profits although they say that their goal is to have fun. but I doubt it will be of interest. I'm sure people have own greed so they will have a goal to win when gambling.
but for the long-term course obtained lose

Well poker may need much strategy and skills in playing it but you can certainly need luck in playing it, in drawing cards you will certainly need it, and in sports betting you can surely need luck but you have a high chance in winning it because of the statistics of the analyst that you can surely trust!
