I think it's depend on what type of gambling that you gamble. If you gamble on dice sites and provably fair games, you can easily busted if you gamble for long run.

Dice sites is good if you are lucky but in the long run you will lose therefore you just play for fun and you will safe there, it does not matter if you lose as long as you enjoy and to be safe does not mean you will not experience any loses, it is just a matter of minimizing your loses.

Honestly it depends of a gambler not all people are the same so i think it can be happen.. they can control their self from the first time before they are addicted or i think even you are addicted.. i experience before that im become addicted in one of the game poker but i stop it because i realize that i am not making any profit its not hard for me to stop because i am thinking for my family..

That's the problem if we are playing gambling in the long run , Because we are getting addicted everytime we lose we are always chasing our lose so that we can get back our profit and if you are going to quit after 1 win thats your strategy ? for me if i am going to double my estimated 0.01 then it turn to 0.02 i stop playing and withdraw.

that's really hard to do mate, because in your mind you are still thinking that you are lucky so you are going to try it again and keeps doing it until finding out that everything got lose, just in my personal opinion too mate i don't know but after winning greediness comes and keep aiming for more thinking that it was your lucky day.

Yeah, only yourself cam stop or quit from gamblimg. Professionals will only give you advice how to stop it but it is still up to you if you are really serious of doing it. If you really want to quit you will make your own way to stop it permanently. You will find other ways to entertain yourself.

You're right, no one can help you but you yourself. i was a gambling addict but not anymore because i decided to quit it all by myself. i'm not an addict now but i do gamble moderately.

Let's be honest. Gambling should only be considered for entertainment purposes only. If you are in need of quick cash, doing hard dirty work is more often than not better than hitting up the casino sites. I see way too many people in this section try to justify their gambling habits by saying they have strategies to always win. Others on this forum will go as far as to say that they are professional gamblers, and they always win. You're fooling no one and you look stupid.

All the gambling addicts I knew in real life who claimed to win from casinos all the time had serious mental issues. I went gambling with that guy once, and he ended up blaming me for him loosing at Pai Gow poker, a game that's 100% chance.

And just to let you guys know, ALL the casinos in my jurisdiction say the same things in public advertising campaigns. So far, my sig campaign manager has not PM'ed me telling me to quit bashing gambling. Nobody wins gambling, so lets stop pretending anyone here makes a living gambling online.

Yes that is true nobody wins in gambling because if they use a calculator they see that many loses than winning . Yes they but their capital from the start if they think more money release from them. Maybe if they like to get profit once they win maybe thet stop playing for safe the money but if do long run for sure all their mony lost .

if you have a good control on your self and your have a good decision poster and then can stand firmly on your decision then you can really quit gambling, although there is always remain a chance of starting it. but still i have seen some people who have permanently stop gambling any more.

It is very hard to avoid it. The casinos have been around for a long long time. And in fact, casinos are growing more and more. Look at macau and those asia countries. The number of casinos has been growing for the past centuries. These shows that they are making a lot of money and all these come from the losses of gamblers.

At first we actually don't put too much because we are just gambling for fun but when we are getting use to gamble and we are looking for the entertainment most of the time that is when we will not be able to manage our bankroll and we tend to increase our bet because of rage.

Yeah, in the long run usually players get losses, so some people develop their own method to avoid losses like stop and quit after get win. I agree that if we addicted and play to the long run and intended to pay back our losses always hard to do even  apply martingale method to double your bet after every loss. I think the best way is set some amount for gambling and stop when it run out.

When you are about to lose that is going to hurt you, but if you are just having fun you are already expecting that you are going to lose.
