Poker is a skilled base game and you can only win poker if you have practice more often and you have a good experience in playing poker. If you are serious with gambling then I would say that poker is a good type of gambling, it may be boring because you are just reading cards and more on the bluff thing( ) but you have to master it as it's part of the technique to win.

Let's be honest. Gambling should only be considered for entertainment purposes only. If you are in need of quick cash, doing hard dirty work is more often than not better than hitting up the casino sites. I see way too many people in this section try to justify their gambling habits by saying they have strategies to always win. Others on this forum will go as far as to say that they are professional gamblers, and they always win. You're fooling no one and you look stupid.

All the gambling addicts I knew in real life who claimed to win from casinos all the time had serious mental issues. I went gambling with that guy once, and he ended up blaming me for him loosing at Pai Gow poker, a game that's 100% chance.

And just to let you guys know, ALL the casinos in my jurisdiction say the same things in public advertising campaigns. So far, my sig campaign manager has not PM'ed me telling me to quit bashing gambling. Nobody wins gambling, so lets stop pretending anyone here makes a living gambling online.

I play poker but I do enjoy more in sports betting so I am more focus in sports. What I love about sports betting is I do not need to rely solely on my physical ability but more on the mental ability, I am good in analyzing so I like to cap games and most the time I won but in the long run I still end losing money due to poor money management.

The thing that gets the hopes up of most gamblers are those people that have become rich through gambling. There are high rollers out there that makes a lot of money every single day out of gambling. Everyone wants to be like that kind of person. So people copy the top guy's technique in gambling, bet big amounts, and eventually lose all their money in the long run.

The self discipline is one of the most important factors we need to consider in gambling, we cannot be successful if we do not have that, we cannot be happy without temporary win by saying we are lucky as when we still gamble we are subject to losing in the long run.
