I dont know where you get this from bu there is no such thing as pure skill based game. How about the games like drag racing? It's purely skill based and people bet on that. You can bet money too as a player. Boxing is another example of this. Literally all types of sports are skilled based game that you can gamble on. That's 100% skill based. I think you're putting a limit on your thinking. You're just thinking of this dice, roulette, etc. Those are purely luck based but gambling is not limited to that. People bet on almost everything. Even the presidency, people gamble on that.

I agree that skill based games are better to bet on rather than the luck based casino games. However you should be knowing that many games are fixed and the money-lines are manipulated in ways to make to gamblers bet on the party who is fixed to lose.

Also psychologically the players manipulate the gamblers buy fixing some games themselves - like winning the first game and losing the next and then winning the next in a set of tennis.

Let's be honest. Gambling should only be considered for entertainment purposes only. If you are in need of quick cash, doing hard dirty work is more often than not better than hitting up the casino sites. I see way too many people in this section try to justify their gambling habits by saying they have strategies to always win. Others on this forum will go as far as to say that they are professional gamblers, and they always win. You're fooling no one and you look stupid.

All the gambling addicts I knew in real life who claimed to win from casinos all the time had serious mental issues. I went gambling with that guy once, and he ended up blaming me for him loosing at Pai Gow poker, a game that's 100% chance.

Theoretically you cant win in gambling especially in the long run, you can only win in the long run when there is variance although it is quite rare. but i think there are so many people who are even making good money in gambling and specially in sports gambling. because in sports gambling you have the advantage to use your previous experience, knowledge and skill, but it is a fact the most gambling games  depend on your luck except sports gambling.

i think sports betting is different than other gambling games, because in sports betting we need to know almost all about each of team so we can make prediction. but in other gambling games, maybe only a few of that games that need to analyze so finally we will be looses in the long run.
