The lender will disclosed the loan because he/she knows that there is chance they can't pay the loan because gambling is 50/50 % chance to win. It not advisable to barrow the money for gambling

for me it depends if the person has a colateral or work we can borrow him a money for  gambling but if he has now colateral or work. I cannot barrowing him.

If you are out of your gambling money, and are or the brink of total insolvency. AND on top of that you are borrowing money to gamble even more - because you think you can miraculously win high bet and fix your gambling debts - you are totally lost. There is no cure for you and you need professional help asap.

but sadly to say there is a lot of people like this in real life casino. i have been to there and i see the face when they gamble is very obvious. it seems like their life is on it and they feel like dying when they lose.

in my opinion, anybody who asks for a loan in order to gamble with the money has serious case of gambling addiction. because you should always gamble with your own money and most importantly is that you should always gamble with the money that you can afford to lose.
while losing borrowed money is double loss because you lose your bet and you have to pay back with interest what you have borrowed!

that's because borrowers who to ask for a loan, not all loan sharks or lenders are same, they also have a target market lol, some will loan only to gamblers, some will loan with collateral, some without collateral and borrowers know that.

They will keep losing and borrowing to make up for their losses.

Borrowing money to your friend and/or borrowing money yourself is the worst thing you can do and the best way to lose your friend - I assume both parties know what these money are for. It is like buying drugs and giving them to your addicted friend. Come on.

You don't know who are you lending money to? As I said before, lending money to addicted gamblers is not a remedy, it's a poison for them.

He does know he's got a problem as hes just told you what happened but he might not have known beforehand. Many close friends or family don't know about their relations drug or gambling addictions because they keep it hidden.

Like I said from my previous post here it depends on the person.

I myself have experienced to borrow money for gambling. The person I borrow don't hesitate to lend me a money since he know that I have a capability of giving the loan back. This case also apply if someone will borrow money to me. As long as I know that he has the ability to pay me back then it doesn't matter even if it's for his gambling purposes. As long as I see him not addicted that much and not affecting his life I will lend a money.

I had loan just one time for gambling to recover my lose but unfortunately got busted again that borrowed money so that i think borrow money for gambling is really bad idea just stop for a little time until you have some money for do this again.

that is why i never lend money to anybody who is close to me. you it is best not to mix business (money) with family and friends.

besides borrowing money in order to gamble with it , is the worst reason for borrowing money. because the person who is borrowing to gamble, is most probably going to lose and you have to run after him to get your money back.

my theory is if anybody could win with gambling , then they wouldn't need to borrow money in first place.

I think what you are trying to describe is that people having gambling problems.  Of course they do, you can go and replace borrow money to gamble with, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever it might be people have addictions.

As someone once told me, people are addicted to being addicted to stuff. It's the same about pretty much 99% of humans.

I don't know what is worse, borrowing to gamble, or people lending money to known gamblers.  You are fueling their addiction and they need to get help, not try and get money from you and let them continue with their problem.
