In the last 2 week i have see born more faucet with "antibot" sistem.
The methos is simple, add 6-10 text link "I'm human" and for request satoshi you get click to all this link.

Where is the problem ?
The problem is, this don't is a method for stop a bot, but only for earn more with ads click, because the I'm human text link is very near to all google adsense banner. This is only lose time, you click

1 time for add your btc address

1 time for captcha

1 time for add captcha (if use funcaptcha you get click more time)

8 time for click to i'm human

1 time for click get rewards

=

12 click for have 1000/1500 satoshi ?
YOUR FINGER WORTH MORE

Stop use this @@@@@ faucet and see how the owner change methos. I write to google every time i see the faucet use this method , for signaled a unfair methos used for have more click

I have a faucet and I don't use this method.

The Google Adsense rules are prohibitive against methods that induce misleading clicks or unnatural attention to their ads.

I think those faucet owners will lose their adsense accounts soon.

People will continue to use those faucets because they have usually nice reward for 1 claim and long claim time so you don't have to do that annoying thing every 5 minutes.

Honestly, while i leave a click sometimes on good faucets, i try my best to not click any on those that use anti bot things but i also know that other users less expert will accidentally click on them and they will earn something until adsense ban them.

There is a solution for this problem, you can totally skip ani-bot links and waits time. There is an addon for Firefox that enables it all.
Check in my signature, follow the instructions and within minutes the problem was solved thanks to user LosingAlpha Smiley

It's a alien-predator symbiotic relationship between ops(I mean faucet owners operators Smiley) and users in a hunt for advertiser's satoshis. Smiley Personally I prefer faucets with less straightforward tricks.  Like this one with flying amphibian http://frog-btc.com/play

i dont promote this kind of faucets on my lists

I will soon be taking a similar approach, I don't feel comfortable sending traffic to sites that employ such tactics to keep themselves afloat.

Many of these sites have zero regards for the ecosystem - don't feature any sort of Bitcoin advertising and have almost zero relevant content apart from the satoshis they offer. For sites that actually work to develop their sites, it really sucks to lose traffic to these juggernauts. Nobody can afford to offer what they do without employing those sort of tactics.

It's a shame looking at the top 10 on iFaucet. 90% of the faucets listed have anti-bot links.

I do agree with the OP as it's really a dishonest way of using the case of bots drying their faucets just so they get more clicks here and there and to be honest, I think if google adsense start really going over the faucet , more than half of them will lose the earnings as their somehow making people to click involuntarily on the ads

Hi forum,

90% + times those "click if you're human" links can be evaded, just like most timers can be evaded!
Just complete captcha, execute a bit of javascript: document.forms[0].submit()

Bang!
Satoshis earned.

As a faucet user myself, I completely agree that it is extremely annoying.

But as a faucet owner, I must tell you that it is extremely difficult to keep faucets running with so many bots, so many users who are not willing to do the faucet a favor by sparing one little tiny bit of a second to keep the faucet alive.

The anti-bot link have become a necessity rather than a choice between many faucet owners but I am completely on your side when it comes to forcing users to click on ads by placing it really near the ads. That isn't necessary but many faucet owners are doing it.

However, I am not going to complain because it is 'free bitcoins' we are talking about after all. With literally so many faucets out there, it's perhaps too easy to solve this problem. Just ditch those faucets and move on.

But please do remember this. Bitcoins cost. Faucet owners are not some rich people willing to give out free money. If you or anyone reading this had been using faucets for a long time, I suggest that it's about time you do a favor for all those faucets you have been claiming free bitcoins from.. Spare 1 second of your time to keep genuine faucets alive. This is my one little piece of suggestion.

Bye.

I use my lists and lists of other ones...
list owners should understand that each time I lose time for nothing, the list owner does earn nothing.
Sometimes I believe that the list owner and the faucet owner are the same person.
Of course I accept antibot links seeable per humans, but if the links are hiden or temporized for a long time...I try to avoid.

if list owners are clever, they avoid the faucet which such links because they earn less.
