Banning one by one is hard. Try to ban by their behavior. For example, search in Google how to ban TOR Users (A kind of ghost navigator) and Proxy Servers users using your .htaccess file. This is a good start.

ban their ip is better, because it's too easy to make new bitcoin address. just my opinion. ( i have faucet before )
Banning IP is effective just if the IP is a fixed/static IP from a webservice. For example, banning a IP of a bot won't be effective because they change its IP all the time.
Banning IPs from sites/APIs/services which solve captchas will be very effective because BOTs cant solve the most captchas. Then, they send the captcha to a service where "chinese and indian slaves" solve captchas all the day.
Search in Google these services and ban them to access your faucet using your .htaccess file.

Yes... The FaucetBox security system isn't enough to protect your faucet. Learn in Google how to prevent TOR users and Proxy Servers users to access your site. This is the first step.
Banning IPs and bitcoin addresse in your FaucetBox security tab will help, but not to much. I istalled the Wordpress together with my faucet. Into Wordpress and I installed the iThemes Scurity Plugin. A security system more effective on banning IPs and host, preventing attacks and etc. It gives me logs too.
These are my first advices for news faucetbox owners.
