Is it possible to fix a bit the notification system? The notification icon doesn't disappear after a claim and also it would be nice to add other settings like the led color or vibrate.

It doesnt really help now in my opinion  Wink

Hi lelouch90.

Thank you for pointing out the problem, I will look into it. It does work in the development mode, which is why I haven't noticed this. Please PM me your address, so I can reward you a little.

For the second part, my phone vibrates by default when notification occurs. I don't have led, so I cannot confirm that, but I suppose it should work similarly. I would prefer not to overcome the system settings just for doing this programatically (and I think most of the users would agree), when this could be set according user preference in OS.

UPDATE: I have just uploaded (hopefully) fixed version to Google play - again, it will be couple of hours until it will be approved. If you have experienced any strange behaving notification, please update.

I know that there are a lot of android os so maybe on some it works and other doesnt(i'm using 4.4.2 currently if it can helps).

About the other 2 points i will try to play a bit around os settings since on mine too default settings are vibrate/led on for notifications but it's not working with the app(and usually i have to remove them manually from some annoying apps).

Will update later if i solve it and no need to reward me since i like to help with nice projects Cheesy

Ok, thank you anyway for the help. I will look into possibilities with vibrations and led notifications when I have a time.

The notification icon is fixed for me after the last update. Can't find a solution with vibration and led but it's not a real problem Smiley

Hi all.

We're slowly approaching a one million satoshi milestone. It is an awesome number in just ten days. Keep it going! We will have another payout on Sunday.

I apologize, still I am not sure what happened, I will make a clean build of a server and transfer the database. At least I have all the data before the server crashed. Will keep you updated.

Hi All.

I apologize for today's outage once again. I will give as a compensation 10000 satoshi to every user who has over 10000 satoshi at this moment.

Hopefully this will never happen again.

I will implement some kind of in-app warning of these situations.

Hi everybody.

I have released a version 1.1.0 of Claim Bitcoin. The app is slightly redesigned, and I've added couple of error messages to let you know when the server is down. It should be approved by Google in couple of hours as usual.

Have a great day, and claim as much as you can.

Hi All.

Couple of minutes ago, I have issued a payment for every user having over 10,000 satoshis. If that's you, you should receive a payment soon.
For the next week, I have lowered the claim amount to 300 satoshis, because this week alone, it was unprofitable for me every single day of the week. I hope that due to a raising price of bitcoin you will stick with the app and continue to claim. More in the blog post.

PAYOUT RUN - WEEK 43 (19/10 - 25/10)

Have a great rest of the weekend.

Wow. 300 users. I didn't expect such interest when I launched this app just a month ago. If you like the app, and want to earn some extra satoshis, share your referral link with friends - you will earn half of every claim of theirs.

Thank you, you make this a great project.

Hi all.

If the price of the bitcoin will continue to rise like that, I will definitely need to lower the amount on Sunday, because it almost doubled the value in the last month. So claim now as much as you can :-)

Hi everyone.

I have issued another payments today for everyone having over 10,000 satoshis. You can read more in the blog post.

PAYOUT RUN - WEEK 45 (02/11 - 08/11)

Important news:

Amount for the next week stays the same - 300 satoshi.

We have now over 500 users, yay.

I will be implementing daily jackpots in the nearest future (5-10% of the daily claimed amount), I would appreciate your thoughts about it either by e-mail or here.

Also, please apologize minor server outages during next couple of weeks, I will be redesigning the app and backend completely.

Got the payment, thanks

Regarding your jackpot, you might want to copy freebitco.in method of jackpot (lottery on their site), everytime someone claim their free sat, they got certain amount of ticket which at the end of the period will be rolled.
Or, simply give it to the user with most claim, it'll boost your claim rate because ppl would be motivated even more to claim
