I have read from the reviews that 12.11 has given 1-20% fps boost in games for the new 7xxx series.
Has anyone tried how it affects to mining? Any improvement in Mhash?

7970x2 improved my gaming performance by 6-7%. Same 1300MH/s as with 12.8. Wish it was the other way around.

I thought it was 11.12 RC drivers that people said were saying gave such good results? I couldn't find any download links to those initial drivers that amd released for the 7900 series so I am using 12.8. Some have said that those old drivers can be found on driver cd's included with reference cards but I don't have one. Hopefully 12.8 is pretty much the best.

I noticed a few MH/s bump by going from 12.8 to 12.10. Very small, tho. I havn't tried 12.11.

Going from 12.8 to 12.11 actually has made my machine unstable as heck. I used to be able to run cgminer with Intensity 5 and play games at the same time. With 12.11, even at Intensity 1 the video driver crashes after about 5 minutes of gaming.

12.11 is a mess mining-wise. I get all sorts of artifacts while mining on my screens even if I'm not overclocking the GPU. I rolled back.

Just tried 12.10 for about 5 minutes and got about 20 hardware errors. Reverted back to 12.8, probably for the duration.

That happens with me with 12.10. I have to disable any GPU mining to play any game. CGMiner and my Single are still going, but my GPU isn't being used. |

I installed 12.11 from 12.8 and now my cataylst manager won't show up when I click on it.
But my 3dmark vantage score went from x2800 to x4800, probably because they fixed crossfire setup in these drivers.

I've tried every set from 12.3 on with my 7870 and am hard pressed to see any difference with mining. With 3dmark11, the 12.11's boosted my graphics and p scores considerably. xD 12.7 beta = P7078, graphics 7332 12.11 beta = P7877, graphics 8523 http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2326211_ |

The 12.11 made my 7950 from 620MH/s to 550-600 AND it was completely unstable and my screen was filled with artifacts.
Back to 12.8 for me until it's stable.

12.11 is a FUCKING mess, Your gonna be uninstalling it 30seconds after you turn your miner on. Dont even go near it yet.
I still use 12.8 because for whatever reason, Using 12.10 makes my mining while gaming nearly undoable, Touhou FULL NEVER DROPPING fps needs Intensity 6 on 12.8
But on 12.10 i need the intensity as low as 2 so that the framerate doesnt drop (Touhou is a game where its nearly Mandatory to have a Locked framerate)
Of BF3 it's Intensity 3 for 12.8, And intensity 1 or Crash for 12.10
