Crazy to think ppl make a living off bitcoin. Has to be pretty stressful during crashes

What about people who bought millions of $ at 1000$ and were down to 200$ later.

They lost 80% of their money and still havent sold bitcoin, that is the real stress. Now they recovered +20% of it at 400$

every months at least I sell 1-2BTC to my life. but 1BTC highly enough for me because I was not married Cheesy
For unmarried people it does not require lots of money to live.
Especially if you still live with your family, in general i would say 1-1.5BTC is enough for food and other basic things.
yes but unfortunately I always have a lot of expenses Cheesy
yes 1-1.5BTC highly enough for the necessities of life if I was married, because the cost of living in my country is not too high.
This seems to be good for you, the problem now is how to earn these money.
Bitcoin price is increasing and the amount to live is going to be less every time Tongue
but this time I tried to downsize. bitcoin is money, so of course I will continue to look for and collect bitcoin for my life in future Tongue

If you can why not collecting more bitcoins because bitcoin maybe will have a good future.
I want to see the time when we should need 0.xBTC to live, which means a higher value of bitcoin.

The price is volatile. It has big changes all the time. Maybe in 10 year, when we look back, we will think that we should have bought a lot in 2016.

The price is volatile but the production of bitcoin is low. So sure there will be increased demand and market value of bitcoin increases gradually. My opinion by the month of june we can find a increased value for bitcoin. To making a living through bitcoin depends upon the country you reside.

Unfortunately, most of them are scams. If you buy the altcoin the first day they enter the exchange. You will lose most of your money.

To have a good living atleast you need one bitcoin to be sold every month. If the price goes high or low accordingly you can change the numbers without much calculations

It depends on the price of bitcoin. The more expensive it is, the fewer bitcoin we have to sell.

Sooo many factors

Cost of living
How much BTC do you have
How are you going to keep the BTC supply going
Do you want to improve your lifestyle
Are you willing to cut your lifestyle back

and so on

The answer would be different for each and every one of us

The more important fact is your whereabouts. In some countries 1BTC is a LOT of money but rich EU countries or USA it is not that much.
I think this question needs to be answered individually by every person who wants to trade bitcoin/cryptocurrencies.
And of course you can live from it, I know people who are earning that way, but that is not your standard office job, more like a gambling - but with potentially lower risks.

You are right, I live in India and it's very easy to survive if I spend BTC1 a month everytime...
But sometimes, inflation increases a lot due to which it is not possible to decide that what amount do we actually need in order to live on BTC...

it depends on where you live and how much is the cost of life in that place. in some big cities of some countries 1BTC/month is not enough for living no matter if you manage it smart or not. add to that factors like mortgage payment or student loans,... then even 2BTC is not going to be enough.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Well if you don't have debt to the bank or other loans and payments and live frugally 1 BTC can be quite enough. And 2 BTC would be a nice living.
