I would say Its very unlikely there are aliens out there. Life is just so unlikely in itself, that I have a hard time seeing it happening twice in one universe. And if there are life, its probably very simple life forms.

If its very intelligent lifeform, then we are screwed if they find us. If they are anything like humans - they will consider us in the same way, we consider cows, chickens etc.

They will either eat us or destroy our world, for their own advantage

I believe in the existence of aliens. I don't know they are more advanced than earthlings or not, but that they have, that's for sure. The origin of life is a law of nature. If on the planet there are suitable conditions for life will certainly appear. The universe is big and somewhere there is life, but we can never know.
