Do you mind to explain further? I don't think I get your rules

what is soft skill n hard skill means? n trust?

AFAIK, Soft skills means your attitude, like how you act under work pressure, how you relate with your coworkers. While hard skills are what you got from your study, like your bachelor degree, knowledge, and well... skills.

I would much more prefer a person with hard skills rather than a person with well-refined soft skills but cannot do any work.

Even if an employee/co-worker is being annoying, if they have the skill to back it up, that's fine.

However, an employee/co-worker that is completely useless for the job but is good at communication? No. Brings no benefit to the company.

I think is Soft skills, because useless if hardskill well but his softskill bad. The company would prefer candidates who have personality and character better though not supported by hard skill that qualified. The reason is obvious, because the training of technical skills is much easier than the formation of a person's character.

Soft skill is more important
You can easily teach someone the necessary hard skill to enchance their quality needed on certain job specification, but being able to works under pressure, or being able to give smile to customers even when you're exhausted, or being completely loyal to one company, people with that skills are worth employing.

I would prefer to employ someone with low knowledge but could lift other employee's spirit or could brighten our working space with his/her smile or kindness rather than someone with 4.0 GPA but keeps sulking or easily gets irritated by something around him/her or (on worse scenario) experiencing mental breakdown during deadline because s/he simply can't work under pressure.

I think soft skill because we will success if only you have a great & diligent attitude.
If you have better soft skill, you will achieve your hard skill goal easier

In life, hard skills would be more important as you need to be able to find food or build a home,
but as we live in society you do not need these skills, but need others to have them, and in the end soft skills actually matter more.

Both are necessary. But i think hard skills are more necessary than soft skills, because hard skills are more useful.  Smiley

oh thanks for that explanation, i think soft skill is the most important, coz with good attitude people could gain more hard skills, in this case something like determination is important.
people with good hard skill but got no good attitude would likely to lose their own self on certain occassion like pressure n life matters. n mostly they dont respect their surrounding, which is very important for human being to create a good life

Soft skills have a priority in front of hard skills, since we are in an age of communication and sociability now, and those who have trouble effectively interacting with others in a congenial way will find themselves at a significant disadvantage in the modern workplace.

I choose softskills Because it combines emotional intelligence with intellectual and spiritual intelligence that is now increasingly considered an important first look at the human needs of an increasingly complex and require an equivalent relationship between humans. This is where soft skills play a role, making the individual in a society that is better

I think soft skills are more important than hard skills, we are social beings and that's why we need the soft skills more.

The hard skills are way more important when you are doing a job interview for example. Using your soft skills you are looking like a deceiver then, but if you have hard skills they will immediately see that you know what you are talking about and they will hire you.

Depends on the job of course, but I'd stick to the hard skills.
