Yup. It's an area that many, many posters are involved in. It's also the cause of masses of questions and confusion from newcomers. It would clear up a lot of crap elsewhere too.

since this is probably isn't going to happen, you can try ignoring the topic starters of signature campaign threads. it's not perfect but at least you can filter them out.

I don't think it's necessary, reason why those signature campaign threads keep bumping up is sometimes it becoming to be like a discussion thread, just like when secondstrade announced that they reduced the maximum post from 100 down to 70, everyone reacted even those that are not in the secondstrade campaign started posting there.

Okay, I've been thinking about a variation of the idea. What if we created just a general "Campaigns" section that would encompass all campaign threads, such as signature campaigns, earning campaigns (like those bitcoin CAPTCHA solving stuff), maybe advertising campaigns as well.

The captcha solving things would end up in micro earnings. Maybe campaigns can go there... considering that the amount you get paid per post would be considered a micro payment.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Well, if we moved them over there then the same thing would happen to the faucets and rotators being listed in that section.
