Actually I do not know for sure why people stop using bitcoin. I think if people using bitcoin will definitely continue to use bitcoin. Maybe those people stop using bitcoin because they already have a busy life in the real world.
Before entering into bitcoin they will think that it will be difficult that we can't think about anything else but the fact is that after usage they come to understand it is simple and innovative method to earn money. |

Transaction times and ease of use. Bitcoin needs a centralized 'paypal' like company to aggregate the bitcoins and make internal person to person transfers instant. But preferably not Paypal since they suck.
Still paypal has scam attempt issues and many problems, The thing that stops people from using bitcoin is that they think its just a waste of time as it needs a lot of time understanding bitcoin and they probably think it has no future. In the start I was also thinking the same that it will take a large time to understand bitcoin and I do not have that much time, but when I involved in bitcoin, i learned about it within a few hours, and know I am expert in it, people should have to learn about anything and do not have to care about time while learning some good thing. Wow, you're quite good. You mastered it in a few hours. I wish I have that intelligence of yours. I am doing bitcoin for quite some time now and I am still not as confident as you are. try to search on everywhere on this forum and try to read every topic on this forum carefully, so I think you will learn a lot about bitcoin as a large treasure of knowledge about bitcoin is available on this forum, but still it will take about a few days, I will like to know from the "superways" that from where he learned all about bitcoin in a few hours, that will be really a good source of knowledge about bitcoin. |

For me they stopped using bitcoin when they got 1000 BTC just kiddin. They stopped using bitcoin if they lose more money, if they loose on betting, if they want to stopped addicting in casino

People is going to stop with Bitcoin if they are losing to much money with Bitcoin and if the value keeps stable and that is because they want to make some profit with it.
But the only thing that they need is that they must have make money with it and it can takes a long time.

Probably the thing that keeping people away from using bitcoin is the territorial regulations and the harsh punishments if found using the digital currency
others just want to use the old school notes and coins
I even heard that a country can imprison you if you insist on using bitcoin because in law of that country prohibits the use bitcoin. I thought the government was too excessiv right ? whether bitcoin costing the nation? I think bitcoin does not harm any country |

I don't think that the Criminal aspect has anything to do with Bitcoin not being widely used.
It really boils down to 3 things
1) Most people still aren't really aware of it because...
2) It's still not widely adopted by retailers and...
3) It still can't compete with the speed and ease of use of a contactless debit card.
Simple example. I go do my weekly grocery shopping, at the checkout, go to pay, I insert my debit card in slot, 2 seconds later asks for pin, punch that in, another 2 seconds at the very most, pin confirmed transaction sent, pull card out, thats it, boom, done, so easy. The only thing the consumer has to remember is a 4 digit number, and its the same number each time, no faffing around with Bitcoin addresses having to type in the amount of money to send etc.
Or if its a small purchase, or using public transport like London Underground, contactless, wave the card, boom, done, practically instant.
I was a really strong supporter of Bitcoin to begin with, and still think Crypto currency has a lot of benefits, but it just can't compete with ease of use with the present day Debit Card for normal every day transactions, at least not yet.

Yes, lack of information is the most common problem of people not using the Bitcoins. Someone scared about scammers anyway and or they just don't like bitcoin cause it's illegal on theirs country a lot of different factors that stopping people using bitcoin. |

Yeah only countable number of users stay out fearing of scammers. Most people just fear of the assurance, there is no guaranteed return as the user can't question anyone. |

People don't use bit coins because most of them don' t know exactly what it is or the value of it
maybe they don't even know how to use it. I think people are afraid to use it because they don't know much
about it and you need to buy it with money, and money is there everything.
Why pay with bit coins if you can pay with cash and have more warranty.
