Maybe people will stop using bitcoin if he/she lost his/her bitcoin in very big amount. And it makes regret with bitcoin.

Lack of merchant adoption
Lack of confidence in the technology or the person's own ability to understand it
Negative associations - guns, drugs, ransomware, terrorists...
Lack of easy ways to obtain it
Lack of safe and convenient means to store it

I think one of the reason why people are stopping from using bitcoin is they are lack of knowledge how does bitcoin works and its potential. They don't know that bitcoin is now an online currency.

If the person is already using bitcoin I believe there is no reason for them to stop using it. I think one of the reasons why people leave bitcoin is for their own activities in the real world so that they can not take care of their bitcoin.

People who have used bitcoin knows that bitcoin is already a online currency i mean its accepted in exchanges and some companies.
They are just afraid because of all the rumors spreading all around.

Well, basically bitcoin users will always be weighted with the news that said bitcoin prices will be down, so they want to sell all they own bitcoin but they do not see that bitcoin prices always go up

I think the most common reason is that people do not want to invest in something that is not stable.
Also the problem is the media a lot of people think the bitcoin is bad and only used by criminals so they do no want to use it.

That might be right. But for me it is also good to invest something that is not stable. You can have some profit from it. Just thinking about how much I earned I am thankful to the unstableness of bitcoin price.

I think one of the reason why people are stopping from using bitcoin is they are lack of knowledge how does bitcoin works and its potential. They don't know that bitcoin is now an online currency.
therefore.we need to spread and promotion for bitcoin. so people can know what it is bitcoin and how does it work? so that they are not wrong perception in bitcoin and they do not look at one eye on bitcoin

yes there are a lot of problems that don't help "median" user to embrace btc:

- unstable prices
- scam risk
- you have to study how to use it
- you need to understand how save your coins

After all are these the best problems with btc....as my friends says when I talk about it.

Well I think its mostly the bad name the bitcoin itself has because of the criminals that are using it, but that should be no risk.
The other thing I'm thinking is that people are to scared to invest in it because its still a risk you are taking.

Criminals use all currencies not only bitcoins, then why people are pointing finger only on bitcoins? People should not hate it only because of this one reason, they should see other benefits associated with it.

People should not stay away from bitcoin just because it is used by criminals as it is not the only currency used by them so if people can use other currencies used by criminals then why not this?
But yes, maybe people are scared to invest in it because they think it can be risky because of the price ups and downs, but they will surely start using it when they will see a grow in price and they will also regret not buying before.

They will stop when they realize that they lost a lot of money with it. And that is really bad. I hope later that we all make can some profit.
But it is not easy to make some profit. And you need also some patience that is also very important.

I think many Bitcoin's users enjoyed using it because it's good price, so if the price get down for less than 100$ i think that encourage some people to stopping from using it

Bitcoin wallets are protected by our identifier, then our password then 2fa and then another password at least the wallet of blockchain have those all safety features. People not using because the country they live doesn't support bitcoin. If the countries accept bitcoin,we would see it at some shops as an payment option, I think that would make a big change in bitcoin system overall.

Probably the lack of motivation, People don't do things for no reason at all, There is currently no motivation to use bitcoin generally and as soon as there is  a positive stimulation "like discounts etc..." people would use it.

There is definitely some of that, it's hard for people to change their ways when there are no incentives or obvious benefits to motivate them.
But I still think the main problem right now is volatility. Lay people won't even consider it as a replacement for paper money because the price fluctuations can be extreme and are way too unpredictable. When you have to pay bills or feed a family, you can't afford to not know how much money you have in your pocket.
The time you take to enjoy a beer in a bar could be enough for the $100 worth of Bitcoin in your pocket to drop to $85 or less. Now imagine you're in a restaurant, you've enjoyed your meal and when you pay your $95 bill and tell the waiter to keep the $5 change, the guy says hmm I'm sorry sir but you've just given me $85  Cheesy

Well running a business with bitcoin may be a bit risked but ,as microsoft is working they convert instant the bitcoin into cash ,the same way you can act with bitcoin, and well holding some bitcoins should be the best way to your business as,it should get a bigger value, soo you wouldnt be loosing at all,soo if you instant convert, you reduces the risks of profit goes away, and for other side you can regret to had made that.

The media did a good screw job on bitcoin few years ago that makes people see it as a form of dirty money.
For people to jump on bitcoin it will most likely take a pretty big name that has a legit history to push it.
You know who would have a good push that I can not stand would be Bono from U2,he has a pretty serious following and he could push it to the masses like he did with itunes.

Otherwise its a real image problem and something is going to come in from apple and google to hijack if it does not get sorted out.
