People dont have full faith in Bitcoins yet and this is the main reason of not using it.
if people do not have full faith in the bitcoin, meaning they still hesitate to use bitcoin. but if a person stops using bitcoin, they most likely have a bad experience, like losing a considerable amount of money because investment in bitcoin. |

if people do not have full faith in the bitcoin, meaning they still hesitate to use bitcoin. but if a person stops using bitcoin, they most likely have a bad experience, like losing a considerable amount of money because investment in bitcoin. People who have invested their money in bitcoin will continue to use bitcoin as they don't want to quit in middle or else it will be huge loss for them, rest are not using because they are not aware about it. |

What large companies are you talking about? So far only the MtGox collapse had quite an impact on the price as they were basically the leading exchange back in the days. Bitcoin has left everything behind and came back much stronger. |

When I first learned about it, I wasn't too excited about it. Mostly because I wanted to fully understand what I was getting into, but I just didn't have time to learn everything I could about it. I eventually settled with just understanding the basics.
I think bitcoin not as complicated as you think. what is clear is bitcoin is a currency like the dollar with a different system. then bitcoin is also an investment tool you can get bitcoin easily. should you be interested in that? The idea of Bitcoin is quite easy to understand but when you start to get into the details it is quite challenging. I think that most people just don't know about Bitcoin or have only heard of it. |

I think the situation with bitcoin is the same like with any other currency, like some people use dollors, some Euro, some dinars, others Yen and ect. So there is a group of people who use bitcoin.

I agree with you but there are some other reasons what's stopping people from using bitcoin. Still many people don't have access to the Internet or don't have even electricity, specially in Africa and some parts of Asia. Also language problem because not many people can understand English. Still, some people are afraid to use Internet for financial transaction, buying things over Internet, even use Internet banking  Also, we really need to educate people about bitcoin and we need more positive news about bitcoin in media in order to create interest for Bitcoin. |

If it's something that is technology driven, some are gonna take a while accepting or adjusting to it. During the early days of the internet, not a lot believed in it. It took a while before we realized how much better it is to live interconnectivity. I guess the same goes with bitcoin. Soon, people would realize what value it has and how it can help in certain ways.

Probably poor understanding of how bitcoin works and why would people use it if cash is already available. If I was just like the general public, I would also pose a question like "Why in the world would I use magic money if fiat is already available to buy me things?" and "Why would I complicate things even more with magic internet money?".
We need to spread out comprehensive information about bitcoin to gain a lot of users and to also help people be freed from the chains of using fiat and banks.
