I think price fluctuation is the major reason for not using bitcoin as they think that bitcoin will not survive for a longer period of time.

I think price fluctuation is the major reason for not using bitcoin as they think that bitcoin will not survive for a longer period of time.
Fluctuation has greatly decreased and will continue to do so. As bitcoin becomes larger volatility has become more stable. |

People dont have full faith in Bitcoins yet and this is the main reason of not using it.
I agree because they don't know yet the potential of bitcoin has. But if people will just know the possibility of bitcoin can do. They will believe that bitcoin can be used as one the currency online. I think that people are just too scared to invest into Bitcoin. If they are true supporters, they would have already bought a lot of Bitcoin. Well i'm a bitcoin user; the main problem that i face is finding a place to actually use that money. I have no credit card so i cant actually convert the bitcoins to usd and transfer to a bank account. Its just there for doing online payments that accept bitcoin. |

They will believe that bitcoin can be used as one the currency online. yeah i agree with what you say dude. certainly if people know fully about the potential and advantages of bitcoin they will be very difficult to stop using bitcoin right ? therefore to dampen people who stop using bitcoin? What should we do ? Maybe lacking of education is one stopping them because if they realy know what benifits they can get for staking bitcoin well i dont see why they well not use it, but really majority of people dont know about bitcoin and doesnt knew it was existed. Little by little people are knowing bitcoin. Right now, mostly only internet users are using bitcoin. But in the near future, when bitcoin is already widespread, and can be used in any establishments, more people will use and believe in bitcoin. |

I mean look how long it too email to take off and hit the mainstream?!The first email was sent in the early 70s. Or when TCP/IP was standardized in 1982 all you could do with the internet for the next 12-15 years was to use some early form of bulletin boards and to write email with the use of unix command lines, setting up smtp server and so on.Definitely only a place for geeks at that time right?! Just in the mid 90s with the world wide web and an improved ease of use for emails the internet started to take off! So it's definitely a process which needs time.Also for Bitcoin!It may not take 25-30 years like it did for the internet, but I expect another 5-10 years for a much much broader acceptance and usage by the average joes. |

So after reading this article and especially the ending: One thing is for certain: having made Bitcoin less of a security worry, transparency will now be key in attracting users to new models, placing control of funds and fees in an upfront way in their own hands. I'm wondering what's stopping people from using bitcoin? And now I'm talking about people who already aware of bitcoin and how it works but still not using it. The price is now pretty much stable for more then a year, security issues are out of the question - so why we can't see in 2015 more companies switching to it, especially considering the unstable condition of moden economy? personally i think that a lot of people are afraid to use bitcoin now is because bitcoin is not stable, so people are afraid to have money in bitcoins because they can lose them or other reasons are because they heard some stories how wallets were hacked, that bitcoin is still new and people don't know much about it, so these are main reasons why people don't want to use them |

Basically the major issue is people don't hold any knowledge related to bitcoin and that is the reason they are not using it, once they gets aware they will surely start using it.
they may even have the knowledge about bitcoin or at least hear about it at some point in their lives but the problem is their ignorance and fear that prevents them from adopting bitcoin. They have a fear of loosing their money by investing in something that they really don't know and that is the primary reason for not using bitcoin. whereas if you want to get bitcoin, you can get without money and investing. many free ways to get bitcoin, so they should not have to fear, and must try. If you look for free way to earn bitcoin then it will pay you in peanuts as if you want to earn higher then you need to have great level of skills. you can build an account on these forums to the highest rank and you can get good results. after that you can collect bitcoin, then you can grow it in a better way. |

Yeah I agree with you, when businesses adopts bitcoin it will be easy to those who don't bitcoin yet. They will forced to know about bitcoin and use bitcoin in no time because they will like the service. Let's just wait for it, it will happen soon. I'd have to somehow disagree with you because you know, bitcoin isn't for everyone. Not all people can understand and are willing to understand what bitcoin is and it's potential. My friend and other people in bitcoin groups they stopping in bitcoin because they only collecting in faucets but thats not the reason why they stopping bitcoin they gambling their all satoshi in gambling site and they all loss their satoshi in 1 day only. So they collecting again satoshi in many faucets everyday and they hoping to win in Gambling sites but they always loss. So they stopped now in bitcoin.
