What's stopping people from using bitcoin?

in my humble opinion btc will never replace fiat its just a coin that can be not copied or faked but speed of trades cant occur good and with general aceptancy if this coin never reaches atm good or a site like paypal to btc and bank in all in one and besides most of fiat rules the world and governements do acept it soo its fiat first then pay pal then others then btc into 4th or 5th forever i supouse

The main reason behind stopping people from using bitcoin is that they have never heard about bitcoins and that goes to developing countries and the third world countries, where they are totally dependent on banking system and are not ready to accept the change or innovative things

They are not ready to accept the change because of the lack of knowledge, they do not know well about bitcoin and do not have any knowledge about interesting features of bitcoin so they do not bother to adopt bitcoin and use it for their benefit, but for them the benefit is in their banking system, we have to promote bitcoin and have to spread its knowledge to every person.

Yeah we need to recommend bitcoin to people around us and show them the benefits attached with it and I am pretty sure that they will start using it.

But as mobilestrike  said they first need the knowledge about bitcoin if they will learn perfectly about bitcoin and will know the use and earning of bitcoin they will adopt it immediately and will then prefer bitcoin for their use.

How can you expect them to start using without knowing it? If they don't know how to use it or earn it they will never about bother about it.

If people have not even heard about bitcoin then do you really think that will be aware about delay in confirmation or limited usage, its simple they are not using it because they are not aware about it.

I think confirmation is not the issue for any person, and those who know about bitcoin and banks both will be well aware that bitcoin confirmations are more faster than the banks confirmations, banks often take 2 o 3 days for a wire transaction while bitcoin take a few minutes.

I know many people who don't using bitcoins cause they don't know what is this and how to use it, i think that people nowdays just to lazy to try something new.

Many countries are not allowing bitcoin is one of the legal one to buy any type good , only in some countries they are accepting bitcoins for stores and many other things. Some people is stopping bitcoin of using it, because they just afraid to lose there money and they don't know how to use it.BTC

I never feeling about your said, in this time I made any transaction in the bank and just needed to have waited for a few minute.the confirmation is always become the issue by everyone getting a long time to reach the first confirmation.

There are many reasons behind this questions people are getting their coins with in minutes by purchasing through credit cards, bitcoin are not legit currency though, because it surrounded with online wallet and we have to maintain lot of securities for it. Mainly because of hacking we don't know who hacked our coins and also holding bitcoin for long time is also not safe due to price fluctuations.BTC

yes that may also be a reason but to me the biggest reason is that most of the people have no opportunity uf using bitcoin. therefore most of the people first change bitcoin in fiat currency and then use it in their local markets.

From the rest of us who dont bother buying bitcoins for spending them maybe doesnt know that if we buy and hold them for a while they will grow with the time maybe that is why we dont bother buying it, if we come to know about that or any other factor of bitcoin we would definitely bother to buy bitcoins if we can afford.

Even if they are selling it and using it then its good but the fact is there are many people who have not heard about bitcoin yet so we cannot expect  them to use it.

Well for me they just don't know what bitcoin is and they don't believe that bitcoin is really a true money at all. But supposedly if they are going to know what bitcoin really is for sure they are going to start using bitcoin for sure. But we can't force them to do it so, what we need to do is to educate them what bitcoin really is.

Actually many people stop using bitcoin when they lose everything somewhere like in a HYIP or ponzi scheme or in gambling, and those are the people who wants to get a lot of bitcoins at once and when they fail they just get irritated or hurt and then they just stop using bitcoin again.

Actually many people stop using bitcoin when they lose everything somewhere like in a HYIP or ponzi scheme or in gambling, and those are the people who wants to get a lot of bitcoins at once and when they fail they just get irritated or hurt and then they just stop using bitcoin again.

That is really disgusting and discouraging if you are going to be a victim of that kind of scamming investments. But it is their negligence, because they are not doing some proper research about it and it is your duty to know first and study the investment that you are entering.

I think that people can't start using bitcoin cause they don't understand what is this or they are not interested. Sometimes people just trying to solve their poblems by doing nothing  .

I think for many people, they think there is a lot of mambo-jumbo and it seems very complicated for them. I feel they find it way too advance and nerdy, but once they start getting to understand what it is and how it works, I firmly believe they can benefit greatly from its usage.
