my stakes turned into 0.0 coin rewards :/ did my inputs get to small or we in a no inflation period?

From what the dev has said if your calculated reward is less then 0.01 Cube then you will get 0.00 from that input.  Since its 2000% a year that's 5.48% a day so a input smaller then about 0.2 will stake 0.00.  In practice it seemed even 0.7 cube chunk I had gave me 0.00 the other day so I would use coin control to keep your inputs above 1 cube to make sure you get a reward.

Personally I like it because it takes a little work to keep staking so if you are lazy and don't check it you will not be adding to network inflation.

What are the steps to do 'coin control'?

You can't join sig campaign but you can make some support to earn CUBE at the first post. Or claim very small CUBE at faucet Grin: http://freecoinfaucet.com/cube/
