I'm doing everything I can to promote DigiCube, but I need more help from you guys!! Getting added to Bittrex today is great, now it's time to push for Poloniex!!
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Problem -  My MAC locked up and I had to shut it down.  When I restarted I could not open Digicube.  It crashes almost immediately.
Tried downloading and reinstalling, but get the same result.  Any suggestions?  Have a decent amount of Cube in that wallet.

Probably a problem with blockchain files from improper system shutdown. The database is most likely corrupt. Remove everything except wallet.dat, download the bootstrap, put in that folder, and try again

Thanks.  Other than the client files in applications, where else do I need to look on a MAC?

The files by MAC OS are under
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Application Support/DigiCube
DO NOT DELETE wallet.dat !!! All your coins and transactions are stored there !!!
Make always a backup  Wink

Does Digicube stake better/more efficiently with larger block sizes? If so, can someone post the command line to use in a conf file since I can't see a combine option in the current wallet version.

thank you

Did you try following this advice?:

"Yes this is your reason of low/no CUBE staking, always remember after staking your block to Create a new receiving address inside wallet, click coin control, select all inputs & send with transaction fee (Which is shows you) to the address you just created.

You will get more Compounding if you do it in 1 Block Transactions, always remember to do it after confirming your stake otherwise it will constantly split down and take a lot longer to stake.

Additionally luck can play a part in staking but remember you also won't miss out on your Daily Interest if its taking a while to stake since it is 5.479452054794521% Interest Per Day which will be ever increasing until you do."

Thanks!  So now I have another issue.  I deleted all files except for my original wallet.dat.  I had no conf file.  Downloaded off the website Digicube.club both the client and the bootstrap.  And now it's telling me this:

Then I tried to install it to my Windows partition with my original wallet.dat.  I got these two errors, fairly similar to the MAC errors.

Sup Spots, did you retire your old screen name for good?  I realized it was you literally less than 10 seconds after viewing the ANN for the first time today.  It just screams that this is your handywork.

This is strange. Probably the dev could help here, too.
Something you could try is to backup the wallet.dat file somewhere else, delete the whole folder and start the wallet again. It should generate a new wallet.dat and start to download the blockchain. Leave it to download few blocks then close the wallet and put back your original wallet.dat (overwrite the new one). Then try to start the wallet again.
I just tried it here and worked fine (but without the bootstrap, just had it syncing).
Hope this helps you.

Haha, wow I think you may be right - similar graphics style, high PoS% coin probably derived from Peercoin, & more! But hey, as long as we don't have to swap this coin out every month, I like this new beginning.  Smiley
