Ah ok, so it must have been that then. Sorry about that, Paul had to replace a bad drive and it looks like it reset a couple things. Don't expect that to happen again, it's all sorted out now

The best you could do is to check the Analytics tab on the wallet, scroll down to see how much CUBEs you need to stake in order to get positive reward.. If you don't have that much then lock your wallet up for x number of days. x is calculated by "total CUBEs needed to mint / the amount of CUBEs you holding". Then unlock your wallet after x days. That should work out fine..

The point behind this, as far as I understand it, is to keep exchanges from staking everyone's coins out of greed. This essentially disables them (to a large degree) from being able to do so.

What he said, but don't forget to check by how much the amount rose due to new found blocks during the waiting time. Then forget the minting tab, its only use is to quickly check if all your funds are collected in one, or however many you plan with, inputs. I suspect they weren't because you lost only 25k, since you're supposed to loose 25% of your coin age that meant you had 100k coin age which would be about a 23rd of the amount needed to earn stake.
