We are happy to announce that during the following days, KingDice.com will switch hands! The Domain and the Website, along with this Bitcointalk Profile, will be handed off to a well known and long time Member of this Community: Wetsuit. You probably know him as a long term member here, and Owner of FreeBitco.in, so no need for us to introduce him really  .

General info:
- All Usernames, Passwords, 2FA, Investments, etc, will remain active, since neither the Database nor the servers will change.
- KingDice will of course continue to accept Bankroll Investments after the handoff. But if an investor would like to divest his funds prior the transfer, he is able to do it.
- Furthermore, an email will be sent today to all our Investors, just letting them know, in case they want to divest.
- The ETA for the hand off is about 4 days. Once its completed, it will announced here.

I tried to register and it shows the 'error' message.

It shows that there are 4,798 rolls since morning. Reading the old posts, support is no longer active and even the owner for this thread.

I believe the owner is still active monitoring the site. As a proof, the domain was expired some time ago and it has been just renewed. Means that the owner is still working to make this site alive but indeed he seems to be inactive in this thread to answer or at least to give an update on what is going on with site regularly.

But the new registrations were disabled if you're going to try it. And the one that renewed the domain isn't the owner of kingdice but wetsuite.

I guess this has been the case for a long time, wetsuit is the dude that owns freebitcoin, kingdice has dice in it which basically is in freebitcoin anyway so I can't really talk about why they would also buy kingdice, I don't know the exact reason but they do not really have a reason to continue keeping this open neither.

The fact that since the acquisition happened back in the day there hasn't been really any new developments for the website, the domain could have been renewed but if you are really just aware how easy it is to just put in your credit card and let it withdraw the money whenever it wants, you would realize it doesn't really require too much to just let it continue forever.

I guess we would need some information about the website from either wetsuit himself and if not maybe thequin that runs the bitcointalk topic of freebitcoin.

judging by the amount of players and rolls, the site is semi abandoned
and I don't think it is wise to play there , not even talking about investing
there are many more dice sites around worth gambling at , just look around you will definitely see at least several signatures promoting them

But for new entrants, it will show an error. After the sale, I guess this has answered most of the thoughts that the site was bought and semi-abandoned.

The kingdice owner sold the site to freebitcoin owner was a longtime statement but there's nothing to back the claim or to proof it because there's no reason why freebitcoin owner will bought a site and abandon it while he can actually make big money through it

I knew about it since long time ago (you can check my older posts in this thread related to the fact that wetsuit bought this site) and I did not say the owner is Kingdice, did I?
Indeed the site is not accepting new account registration as it gave me an error when I tried it few days back till now. Perhaps wetsuit is working on something although it is very unfortunate to see the fact that he is not giving any updates.

I doubt they are working on something new, I mean if you owned a casino and it was running properly and you needed to build something new, like an update or something. Would you just ghost the customers and not even write on the topic at all, or would you just notify everyone on every place you can find so you don't lose customers ?

Hell, one of the hardest things a casino can achieve is getting more new customers and KingDice basically banned anyone to join from now on, they are obviously making sure the people who are still in plays but eventually with time they will leave as well in which case people will have absolutely zero money in there and the casino will cease to exist since there is no gamblers left in there. That seems like the thing they are aiming at right now.

It already exists so it won't go through and if you're going to register with new account it will show the same error.

Indeed the site is not accepting new account registration as it gave me an error when I tried it few days back till now. Perhaps wetsuit is working on something although it is very unfortunate to see the fact that he is not giving any updates.

It's one of the competitive dice sites before and sad to see that no updates were given by the new management. I'm curious if ever they are creating with something new, what would it be?

What you have done for over a year to recover your account? Email support? PMs to wetsuit? If you have done it, what the answers you get from the owner?
I doubt that wetsuit is ignoring his user for that long time as he is owning freebitco.in which is one of the oldest and most trusted bitcoin faucet/gambling site in this community.

maybe because Wetsuit is busy either in real life or with his main project - freebitcoin?
sometimes you buy things and do not use them , right ,in this case maybe it is not reasonable to put lot of effort into it and rather improve freebitcoin
we can only speculate , the two facts are for sure : the site changed owners and it is semi- abandoned now
I cannot say I was playing there too often , just had a few sessions
the site was okeyish at the time but the competition moved on and are ahead in terms of features and popularity

something is wrong with the withdraw feature, i emailed support... wetsuit and thequin in hopes he will have a better chance at reaching wetsuit faster than me. Seems like a very large amount was taken out of the hot wallet recently 99.9+% but i dont know blockchain stuff that well... if this can be resolved soon, id appreciate it.

I think you'll find it has way more features and the house edge funds many giveaways that make it not only competitive with lower edge sites but far more successful.
